I gave it 4 stars because I did not use the check valve and diverter for solar heat panel. I used them for my fish pond filter instead. The other parts I installed with solar heat panels. They work just fine for me

Not a bad price for the quality.

2 of the 8 solar collectors that were purchased leaked once the system was installed and tested. It was already too late to remove the leaking panels because of the time involved to remove them from the roof where they were installed, so they were repaired in place using the approved method. This tells me that the product was not tested before it was placed in the box for shipment to the distributors which indicates poor quality control practices of the sunheater solar panel manufacturer. They claim a five year limited warranty for manufacturing defects but the time involved to disassemble the array and ship it back is more costly than just repairing each unit in place.

A must buy cheeper to buy here than store.. quality valves and definitely worth the price.

This product is needed if you buy multiple panels. I didnt give it 5 starts because the valve is not 2" and narrows the low path allot. They need to sell a kit that doesnt have the valves and flow back preventer. Also the strap you tie at the ends which makes it hard to remove the strap if needed. They should have clips on one end or something.

Well packaged kit with all the necessary pieces to hook up your solar heater.

Meh. I bought this because it said it was required to install the 4 boxes of SmartPool solar panels. The valves are small, 1.5", not 2", which is the diameter on a lot of the new pool equipment so they were useless to me. It includes only 2 caps, but if you are installing 4 panels or more on a roof that will require 2 columns of panel rows then you will be short 2 additional caps. The strap is basic nylon strap. The parts I actually used would have cost me $20 or less from Home Depot. I used it anyways instead of returning them; I had it on hand, I was in the middle of the install, and didn't want to go to Home Depot... again. If you pre-plan, you can skip this item and save some money.

Hello,I installed everything out of the box and then the check valve was Spraying from the center where it can be taken apart. I decided to take it apart and I noticed there is a small hairline crack along the plastic casting. To say the least this was frustrating. I decided to glue the check valve together and dab glue on the outside fingers crossed. Everything is glued if I had to replace that valve now I’m replacing an elbow, three way valve and a union. Or doing some Mickey Mouse stuff cutting off fittings and using a heat gun to save the rest. Do yourself a favor and do a thorough Inspection of the parts for damage like cracks before doing anything, this was my bad. The Pvc is very hard and glossy it does seem like a cheap pvc that would crack easier than others.In hindsight I could have purchased strap and mounting clips from Amazon and the rest of the parts from the local irrigation or pool supply place.

Box came missing parts required to install.

Junk. Waste of money. Buy local and save. Better quality locally too.
