I have used these feet on my kitchen table and chairs. They work very well and keep the scratches and scuffs on my wood floor to a minimum. They last well over a year with frequent use. I just replaced them. So keep an eye on them to avoid floor damage. I am happy with this product and will continue to use it.

Install is cake. I pre drilled a small hole so as to not split the wood chairs. I almost wish I had just a bit more length on the screw, but that is do to the design of the chairs not the product. At first install they slide effortlessly on our floors ( engineered hard wood). We had enough to do all our chairs twice, so that’s an added bonus. So far so good. I will update as time goes on.

I've been using the sticky felt pads for a while now. Even when I get the sticky ones to stay in place, they wear out quickly. Removing the with ones and cleaning the bottom of my chair legs to put on a new pad is a pain. If you don't clean the bottom of the leg the new pad will not stay on.These pads screw in place, so it was much much easier to install them. A week later and none of them have had to be replaced yet and they seem to be holding up well.I'm so glad I tried these, a little more money, but worth every penny.

I have 8 bar style chairs in my kitchen and hard wood floors. Over the years I have used adhesive felt pads and they just don't hold up. It seems every couple of months I would have to replace the pads on two of the chairs that have a high use (Kitchen Island). I replaced all of the pads on the one that is used quite often to see if it they would hold up. Happy to say that they have stood the test of time, no issues. The only reason I gave 4 stars for "Easy to Install" is because unlike the adhesive type you need to drill holes in the bottom of each leg. Otherwise you risk splitting the wood. My chairs are mahogany so not much chance of splitting, however it is a very dense wood and pre-drilling makes it much easier. Would definitely pre-drill if you have pine chairs.
