First off, I want to say I'd give it a solid "5" star rating if it didn't sometimes have difficulty springing back open. Other than that, I love this thing. It has very smooth and precise action. It is lightweight, strong, comfortable to use, and easily cuts twigs up to 3/8" with a simple squeeze. It is great for trimming back various "intruders" that come though my chain link fence from the neighbor's yard, and takes no prisoners when it comes to honeysuckle vines-- I can gather them like rope and cut large amounts at one time. And, it fits nicely in my overalls' side pocket. A quality tool, indeed.

Excellent pruners. Stay sharp, easy to use. Especially like locking mechanism. Another pair I tried would lock themselves periodically in where these do not. Only suggestion I would make would be to change color to a bright color. Loaned mine to a friend who lost them in a pile of brush.
