I’ve come to terms that Bestway just isn’t quality. I have a very powerful pump but you have to submerge the tube for this to work hence takes some getting used to. I ended up cutting the pipe to a shorter length. Then despite the head that locks it has come off several times. Which basically puts all the gunk you hoover up into the pool. Despite pumps power it’s weak. However the actual long telescopic pope and net is good. Seller good. Just Bestway have been so crud their solar cover is just think bubble wrap and winter cover is awful. Not overly impressed

Very easy to put together, the suction was much better than expected, but this will depend on what pump you have. Some of the reviews mention the net is not very good, this is just a surface skimmer and works perfectly well. I had to cut the tube on the vacuum as it was too long, I also wasn’t sure how to get the air out of the tube but a quick search in the internet and found you need to pass the tube slowly into the water until it was filled with water. But other than that the product is well made and does the job well for a 12ft pool.

Depending on pump you may need to reduce hose length to maintain suction.

Hooked up directly to pump but not enough power to use the vacuum so this part is effectively useless. Have use the net frequently with extension pole and this is working well
