It helps to strengthen and rebuild muscle tissue of all kinds all over your body. Lets say you have been very over weight for sometime with limited mobility because of fear of damaging your joints, like me. I have been on a weight loss plan for a while, thank god its working, I now need to rebuild and strengthen the muscle that haven't or couldn't be used for awhile in order to move to the next faze of the process and its really working.

Does this actually help with with muscle gains?

I believe that HMB, along with a clean diet, has helped we add some additional muscle. I based this on measurements. I have seen 1/2 inch in biceps, 1/3 inch in chest and 2/3 inch in thighs ( I added additional sets of squats to my routine).

How soon did anyone experience any noticable muscle gains?
