Let me start by saying I’m not vegan. Don’t go out of my way to shop vegan products and up til now, thought vegan products were inferior. Please don’t come for me 😬. Then I booked an Alaskan vacation with just 2 weeks in advance. Knowing Alaska isn’t known for tolerable cold weather, I realized I needed to buy a real warm parka and fast. I saw this parka on Amazon and thought… how warm can a vegan coat actually be. So I ordered it and bought 7 other coats at various discount locations (tj maxx, Burlington, etc) this parka won when compared to all the other coats and side note it’s adjustable from inside. It kept me warm in arctic temperatures that were -10 degrees, had inside pockets and I look goodt😍. So don’t walk… run and buy this coat.

This jacket fit me as expected. I'm between an extra small and a small and I hate coats that are too big so I purchased the XS. It's slightly tight at the shoulders but overall fits me well. My upper body is much smaller than my lower body so there's plenty of room at the chest and waist and not a lot of room around my hips but I'm very bottom heavy so no surprise there. I am 5'6", 134lbs and my measurements are 33/26/40. The only thing I don't like about this jacket is the drawstring at the waist doesn't go all the way around at the back of this jacket so it leaves a weird fold at the back of my waist. I may return it due to that. It's not that heavy which is a good thing for the length of this jacket as it hits me right above my knees and seems pretty warm although I have only been able to wear it at temperatures right around freezing. I love the thumb holes and all of the pockets this jacket has.

I got a medium, should have gotten a large. Otherwise it's an amazing jacket. Very warm, doesn't let the wind through.

Before this coat, I spent years being cold with less than ideal vegan down alternatives. This year, I decided I had enough and wanted to actually be warm in the winter. I did some extensive research and found this coat—a surprisingly affordable option. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is like wearing a soft, warm marshmallow/sleeping bag hybrid. I am very glad to be warm!The coat is fairly large which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. I’m 5’10”, 145 lbs and went with a small. I suspect I would have been swimming in a medium, even with thick sweaters. The waist was gigantic and unfortunately hit a little higher than my true waist. The coat itself looks a bit bulky, but is really no different than any other actually warm winter coat. My biggest pet peeve is that the zipper isn’t a double zipper—if I could unzip part of the bottom part I think this would be a 5+ star review.

Super warm winter coat! And very cute! I would only change 2 things: first, pocket placement (I would have preferred the pocket openings to be to the side instead of on top) and second, the zipper (would prefer a metal double zipper to be able to open on the bottom). Otherwise, super warm and comfy! I bought an XL (I'm 5'5 and 150lbs) and there's plenty of room for big thick sweaters. I maybe could size down, as there's some extra room around the waist if you don't like that. Also it's very long, which is great for staying warm if you're not wearing snow pants, and looks good when you're wearing long sweaters/cardigans. All around pretty good! Would definitely recommend!

GOOD HEAVY COAT, IF YOU LIVE IN THE EAST COAST. IF YOU LIVE IN A SUB ZERO CLIMATE, IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR YOU LADIES. TO WARM FOR THE CLIMATE THAT I LIVE IN. VERY WELL MADE. NICE HEAVY JACKET. HEAVY ZIPPER. IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR THE RAIN AND SNOW. THE OTHER THINGS THAT I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT THE JACKET WAS THAT THE HOOD WAS ATTACHED TO THE JACKET, THE HOOD DID NOT ZIP OFF. THE FUR WAS ATTACHED WITH BUTTONS SO THAT YOU COULD REMOVE THE FUR WHEN YOU WASH THE JACKET. THE JACKET ONLY HAS TWO POCKETS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE JACKET, THE JACKET HAS NO POCKETS ON THE INSIDE OF THE JACKET. I LIKE TO HAVE SOME EXTRA ROOM FOR THE FIT, BUT I THOUGHT THAT THE JACKET WAS TOO SNUG FOR MY LIKINGS. IF YOU LIKE TO WEAR CLOTHES THAT FIT WELL THEN THIS JACKET WOULD BE THE ONE FOR YOU. I WEAR AN XL, THAT WAS THE SIZE JACKET THAT I ORDERED, I WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE COMFORTABLE IN A XXL. OVERALL I WOULD RATE THE JACKET A FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS. GREAT JACKET FOR THE MONEY, THE JACKET IS WELL WORTH THE COST. I HOPE THAT THIS REVIEW WILL BE HELPFUL TO YOU LADIES OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A WARM WINTER JACKET. Love that it’s vegan and no animals were harmed in making this jacket. It’s very warm and I live in Minnesota! I ordered a small and it’s a tad loose, but I like it. I feel very comfortable and warm. It is long and goes down to my calves, which caused a little ripping up the side seam when I got in my car. But my only cons for this jacket would be the little tag on the back of the jacket to hang it up is a little small and the pockets aren’t on the side where you can rest your hands in your pocket. They are straight in the front of your thighs. But overall I am happy with this purchase and lucky I got one before they sold out!

If your only concern is comfort, warmth, and a vegan alternative to down... this might be the perfect option for you. However, I want all those things and also want to feel cute. Instead, I felt more like a big navy marshmallow. It was puffy in the wrong places. I'm super picky about the appearance of coats because I'm already 5'10 and 160 pounds and don't need any help looking bigger than I already am. I got a size small and it was plenty roomy to layer under, so I'd say this coat runs slightly large. I may have even been able to fit an xsmall (not a normal size for me), but it might have been too tight in the chest. Overall, super cute coat that seems to be of decent quality and certainly worth a try. The drawstring waist and elastic cuffs were really nice features. Color was beautiful. But I'm returning it and continuing the search for a functional AND flattering coat.

This coat definitely has some weight to it. Very warm and in my opinion, has a canvas feel to it. The length is perfect. Love that it covers my legs and keeps them warm on cold, rainy days in Vancouver. I took the fur piece off because I liked the look without it, but have the option to put it back on if I choose. Anyone buying this coat will not be disappointed if you're looking for a warm coat. I bought the next size up, Large as I wanted the option to layer. 5'5' 145lbs. Hope this helps...

I live in Northeastern Ontario where it gets very cold and very windy. This coat has thus far exceeded my expectations. I have worn it in minus 15 Celsius with a windchill and I was very comfortable. It has weight but not enough to restrict a good paced walk.The wind resistance is definitely there and although I have not worn it in minus 32 with a windchill, I believe it could withstand this cold if an extra layer of a sweater was added. I bought a size large because I wanted to be sure that the coat would handle our northern climate, I like a roomy coat because I walk a lot and wanted the freedom of movement. It does not have a two way zipper but with this coats shape at the bottom I have found it comfortable in the car.I am tall and found the length in the sleeves and body to be just great. I only wish that the coat came in more of a colour choice. I bought the cream and it really looks great . The vegan fur is a nice contrast to the cream colour but it could stand to be of better quality.

There's a lot to like but also a lot to dislike. First of all, it's very heavy! Not the lightweight coat I was hoping for. Next it fits very small. I tried it on over a light summer dress and could barely do it up. The other thing is, and not something I anticipated at all, the lining! The coat is lined with an odd plastic-type of lining which felt just horrible. I wouldn't always be wearing this with a long-sleeved top and on my bare arms it felt awful. I'm very disappointed and now have to find a way of returning it as I don't have a printer for the return label ...

The fit is perfect. I love the length and I’m always happy to buy Canadian. It is a lovely, well-made coat. Very happy with this purchase.Update: Feb 2022 - I am completely in love with this parka. I use it in eastern Canada where the winters are snowy, windy, cold, and damp. Impenetrable! You will never have to layer up in this parka.

Overall beautiful jacket, yet to see how it will actually fair in extremely cold weather. One issue I have noticed so far, once zipped all the way up, they should have put a small cloth cover overtop of the zipper head so that it doesn't touch the face. When it touches in cold weather, it feels like cold metal touching the face. Aside from that, long and cozy as was expecting. This might be an older discontinued style now too.
