Works Great, Neat Unit
We bought a 21BH Viking Ultralight Travel Trailer which comes with an insert for the Zamp solar power. It weighs <30# and folds up for easy storage in our trailer. Instructions are very simple and clear. The control panel hangs down from the inside and shows the voltage. You sent it according to the type of battery you have. It indicates the status of your battery. It also includes terminal clips if so needed. But for us, since we're Zamp ready, it just plugs in- to charge our trailer battery. No problems; it works. We're ready for anything.The unit folds in half with a handle and a latch. Nice zip up cover. Looks cool.

Everything Needed to Live the 12v Side of Life!
I have always enjoyed off-the-grid camping and solar panels (along with a battery bank) are a necessity. I recently purchased a small Meetkat towable trailer which does not have enough roof space to mount a rigid framed solar panel.Clearly I would need to have portable panel(s) set on the ground.After thoroughly researching all of my options then actually looking at all the various panels and also suitcase panels, I was most impressed with the Zamp suitcase style panels.They are well made and seem pretty rugged. I like the onboard mounted solar controller a lot. The owner's manual is easy to understand and Zamp panels are made in the USA.I am glad I paid a little more for a good quality solar setup that should last as long as my travel trailer!I definitely recommend that others take a look at what Zamp offers.

Pricey but proven performance
Pricey but proven performance. Works right out of the box. I have an Aliner that came Zamp ready and I know I could’ve bought something cheaper and reverse the polarity but I’m not electrically inclined so I went with the brand-name.

Nice unit although a bit high priced
The unit is ready to plug and charge. No setup, installation, which is great for a non-electrician like me. The unit is sturdy and the case provides strong protection for the solar panels. The charge controller is a good tool and the panels produce power in the lowest of light levels! Highly recommended!

MISSING PARTS!!!!
Super not happy that we just received our Zamp and it's missing parts! Never will I buy from this store again. Expect a return. This is ridiculous to spend so much and get a pile of junk.

You get what you pay for.
The Zamo is more expensive, but the quality and simplicity is unsurpassed. The carry case is very nice too.
