Remarkably researched. A must read for anyone interested in earth-centred spirituality.

it's not the easiest reading, no, and it's quite a thick book, for sure, but it's highly informative and it's a really important text, especially as more and more people start digging into decolonization, native rights, and allyship. it's not "collegiate" - while there are an incredible amount of footnotes, etc., and is a perfect teaching text, it's still totally accessible to the layperson who's begun delving into these concepts and wants to learn more. Pegi is active and responsive on social media as well, and has answered personally some of the questions brought up while I have been reading this book. I'm learning more and more about my own southern European roots, and the spiritual practices and indigenous knowledge of that region, and reclaiming it for myself, and it's been a beautiful process, especially as I learn to ally with the local indigenous people where i currently live.

Started this book last week and I am excited for it! If you are on the fence, I am adding pictures of the table of contents so you have a sense of the content and organization of the book. It is a high quality than I was expecting, in-depth, thorough, well researched, and the author has a very approachable story telling style. Excited to share this one with my book group.

Excellent book - very intensely written, with so many research notes a wonderful book for a study on IK - many many yes moments!

This book is full of vital information regarding racism and cultural appropriation we all need to know moving forward in our evolution. And it has a wealth of contact data for re-connecting to European indigenous knowledge and earth-based spirituality.
