We bought this to decant older bottles. It works great, no sediment gets though. Clean up is easy and the hanging dryer is nice. The look is beautiful with the mountain at the base. The glass is thick enough without being too heavy. Holds a bottle with ease. The price was much better than in a shop.

this decanter is large enough to hold btl of wine but small enough to be easy to handle and clean. Love that it comes with the drying rack and cleaning beads. The filter/spout is really nice. Does a decent job of aerating the wine as you pour it in. We have a vinturi aerator that we pour through into the decanter. But that same filter/spout makes it easy to pour into glasses without spilling or dripping. It is very attractive, and as I said small enough that it doesn't take up too much table space. The base, and therefore surface area, isn't as large as our previous decanter, but the aerating spout makes up for that somewhat if you dont have another aerator to rely on. But the wider base decanter we had was awkward to hold and pour from, so on balance I prefer this product.

I purchased this set a few years ago based on the aerator/filter feature. It soon became my go to decanter. I liked the design of the decanter base and appreciated the ability to aerate and filter wine while I decanted it. The ease I could serve it, or pour it back in to the bottle without taking the aerator off was also a great feature. I have never experienced a leak from around the aerator-decanter when pouring wine back out. The drying stand was a nice bonus as well. I liked it so much, that I gifted a set to my sister-in-law for Christmas 2020. Unfortunately, I lost the aerator during a vacation a few months ago. I came back here to order another set, but thought I would reach out to YouYah to see if I could get a replacement aerator instead. Despite me sending my enquiry at midnight on New Year’s Day, they responded back to me within 2 hours. Unfortunately, they were unable to sell me a replacement aerator, but offered to send me a complete decanter set for free! I am super impressed with their Customer service and commitment to their customers. I will definitely continue to recommend this decanter/aerator to all of my wine loving friends.

I recently upgraded my home wine collection by subscribing to two excellent wine clubs (both organic and/or biodynamic), and buying the proper instruments to accompany the fine vino (without going crazy on the cost or joining the fetish class of wine snobbery!)....a decent bottle rack, manual opener, vacuum pump for sealing a half-finished bottle, a sulfite filter, and now, the last piece, a swell decanter. i wanted a nice design, with a holder to dry it after washing (i'd seen too many fine glass decanters cracked in a dish rack). The YouYah Iceberg model won the competition! For it's beauty, it's function, and reasonable cost. This ticks all the boxes. the wine looks elegant as it cascades down the neck and sides of the decanter, swelling at the expanded base. i can pour just the amount required for dinner, and leave the rest in the bottle for vacuum sealing. I did compare this model to the YouYah Wine Breather Carafe (they are similar), with the even sized neck which allows the wine to be poured back into the bottle with ease, but decided to go with the Iceberg model for it’s elegance, curved spout, and aerator. I'm very happy with the choice.

This says it is 1400ml. I poured in 1200ml and it was full. Don't expect to pour 2 bottles of wine in it. It does fit 750ml comfortably and does a great job decanting. Figured I'd invest into proper wine gear for my expensive reds to see if it is worth it. Has filter and easy to pour and clean. The stand is all metal, I was hoping for a rubberized top so there wouldn't be metal to glass contact. I'll have to dip it myself. Other than that it's a great buy for the price.

As someone who likes wine, but often does not know why a particular bottle tastes good I was curious to see if a decanter would work. Would I notice a difference in the flavor of my wines? It turns out that yes, I absolutely do. I've had a few different reds in this decanter, and they all are improved by using it and giving them a little time to sit and breathe. $10 table wine? $60 - $100 bottles? Yes, they all get better with a decant and time to breathe. Don't ask me why, but I can taste the difference and that's what matters most. The design of the decanter is really nice. I appreciate the drying rack and how easy it is to clean and rinse. I've already picked up two more to give as gifts. I'm pretty easy to please and this really has done great for me.
