I'm 5ft 1in & 56kg. I ordered a size 12 & it was a perfect fit. The dress isn't very long & came to about 2 or 3 inches above my knee. The material has a bit of stretch to it & the style has a definite retro vibe. The quality of the dress isn't high end but seemed reasonably well made, although I'm not sure whether the side zip will be very durable. I wasn't expecting a lot for such a little amount of money but was really surprised by how good it looked once I was wearing it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought this after reading other reviews. Amazing dress. quite shocked at how nice it is for the money. Looks beautiful on. Fits like a glove and very comfortable. The mesh and sleeves are covered in lovely embroidered flowers which make it look very special. Bought 3 dresses for the Christmas party season but this is the one I will be wearing. Gave it a cool iron to get rid of the creases from packaging and it's ready to go. Can't wait to wear it.

This is a surprisingly versatile dress. It can definitely be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. I initially bought it for a belated Christmas work night out, then decided it was too casual, then had to wear it after the other two dresses I purchased were too long/tight.I think by adding a full petticoat and nice belt really takes it from a casual dress to a more “night out” dress, although I think it does depend on your preference. My only concern with the petticoat was that I felt like it added weight around my waist/stomach area, due to how high I have to bring it up and the fact that the dress already has a fold, to resemble a belt. But the dress flares out nicely with the aid of a 50s style petticoat and got lots of compliments on the night.I really like the sleeve design of this, with the bell shape, although you do have to be careful not to get them dipped into your dinner/drink etc. Or someone else’s for that matter! I was very conscious of the sleeves whenever I was eating or reaching for my drink on the table. They’re also nice and lightweight, but unfortunately, won’t give you any warmth on a cold February evening.My only real quibble was the collar. I felt that it could have been stiffer/tighter around the neck, as it did droop quite a bit but did not look right with a choker/necklace added. This does depend on your neck size, and I suppose it caters if you have a slightly wider neck to myself.Girls, I would definitely recommend spending enough time making sure you’ve been properly measured for a bra beforehand. This is where I fell down, as the back/front is mesh, I couldn’t wear straps, so I ended up wearing a strapless bra that was about three sizes too small for me. I felt like this spoiled the dress a little for me, but due to it being a last minute fall-back-on dress, I had to make do. I feel like the wrong choice of bra flattened me as well, which could have also contributed to the collar not sitting right and the general fit of the dress.This is definitely worthwhile picking up, particularly due to the price as well. I paid over £60 for the other two dresses, when I should have just stuck with this one from the beginning. I’ll certainly be wearing it in a more casual fashion the next time, without the petticoat, and this will be a staple in my wardrobe.

This dress is so cute! I know people are usually worried when getting clothes feom Amazon but this dress is just lovely.The size is accurate and the dress sits lovely.The fabric is also really good quality.The dress comes with a zip on the side so you can put it on and take it off easily.I just love this dress so much and its probably one of my favourites.

Super cute dress! I'm a clothing size 16-18, the 2XL is a really good fit. It's a lot stretchier thab expected and is a little loose but the smaller size would be too small. It feels and looks really nice, will be purchasing other styles now I know the best size!

Nice dress wasn’t for me as I don’t or ever will wear a dress but the material is on the cheap side and it looks cheap when it was on ( not me ) however the style was what it was bought for and with that happy with the dress I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag.

This dress is so flattering, as a young woman who has gained weight I haven’t felt pretty in a very long time. This dress just makes me feel so confident and beautiful, I cried. The sizing is amazing, it’s very comfortable and a reasonable length, and even for girls with big boobs it doesn’t pull a focus on them or shy it away in an unflattering manner.Highly recommend, and if you want a better fitting shape get a belt for it to :)

I ordered this dress based on all the lovely reviews and pictures but mine arrived pulled and badly stitched in general.Not sure if I'm just unlucky but I was so disappointed, it looks nothing like the images. It's huge too, for the size, I ordered a 16, it'd easily fit a size 20.
