Being a FL resident this makes it a little hard to sleep long term because FL is hot, yes, yes, I know, but hey I like blankets too. The weight is great, the feel is very soft, this is not comforter size it more to the size of the top of the queen mattress not the sides too. I am 6 foot tall and at an angle, this blanket works great for me it is plenty for me but would be hard to stay completely cover if there were 2 people. It said machine wash gentle and hang dry, have not needed to do so yet but I will say I worried about the weight especially when wet. Oddly, this is a little lighter than another 15-pound blanket that I just bought a week prior. I think that one is overweight honestly, this one seems truer to the 15 pounds. Anyway, a nice Minky feel, nice and warm, love the weight. My sister uses and it has helped her with neurologic pain, not sure about any medical explanation on that one but if you have neurologic pain in your legs, this may help you too.

I was on the fence, struggled for an hour and now I do not regret this purchase at all. I use to sleep with 3 blankets because one I get cold, two I love the sense of weight on top of me to help me sleep. This blanket is not only super soft but the weight is perfect (15lb) it’s not too heavy but it adds the pressure I want. I’ve had amazing sleep thus far and it puts me to sleep so much quicker. Amazing item, amazing price. Please purchase this is you are on the fence it is worth it!*update* I live under my blanket everyday, it’s such an anxiety reducer, looks brand new even it being almost a week of constant usage. So worth it! My pup and my husband love it too so I will definitely be getting another one!

I was nervous about ordering a weighted blanket because I didn't know what to expect. I bought this as a gift for a teenage boy who is suffering from anxiety and depression. The weight is perfect and makes him feel comforted and secure. In fact, it is so soft and comfortable that when he isn't using the blanket, I can't keep his cat off of it. :) The blanket arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I haven't washed it yet but I don't anticipate any problems. It feels really durable. This blanket is perfectly priced and you won't regret buying it.

I love my weighted blanket. It is soft and not too heavy. It feels like I am being cuddled when I use it. Even in the middle of summer, I am using it because it is comfortable. During the winter, it was perfect on top of a flat sheet; kept me warm and snuggled. My cat also really likes it too; she tends to build a little nest with it when I'm not using it. Overall, highly recommend this blanket! It is made of high quality materials, is soft to the touch, and it feels like you are being cocooned.

I initially did not like the weight of this blanket, and thought it was too light for me, but after sleeping with it for a few months, I adjusted to it and enjoyed it a lot. The fabric is very plush and comfortable to the touch, even for someone with a severe sensory aversion to specific types of fabric. It's also pretty easy to spot clean, but I would worry about having to clean the whole thing.Unfortunately, I think it actually ended up being too heavy for me, and I would wake up with my hip joints aching and had to regulate the blanket to nights when I'm particularly anxious and the sofa. Maybe I'll go with a lighter blanket in the future.

I’ve been interested in getting one of these for awhile, but had balked at the high-price tag. I have a litany of sleep and medical issues, and have used numerous heavier comforters and throws over the years to simulate the same effect since I was a child. Problem is, that’s not a very cool way to sleep in the summer! I saw this one and couldn’t believe the price, so figured it was worth the shot and am happy I did so. Very soft, great color (grey) and size, and it feels great. Very happy with purchase.

I have a back injury that makes sleep difficult generally. While I found the blanket comforting and generally comfortable, it was a bit too heavy for me (I'm a side-sleeper) and caused a bit too much pressure on my spine so it won't work for me. It is a very nice blanket, it seems sturdy and well-made, and I did feel my anxiety decrease when using it, but because of my specific circumstances, it's just not something that will work out for me long-term. Would definitely recommend to people who aren't side-sleepers with disk problems.

I bought this because I love the feeling of sleeping under heavy blankets. I grew up using those thick tiger mink blankets. It provides me comfort and relaxation for a good night's sleep. I followed the chart. I'm less than 150 pounds so I bought the 15lb. blanket. At first sight, I loved the color and the softness. It feels so nice my mom ended up using it in her bedroom. She's a lot lighter than me so she finds it great. Even though it's the right weight for my size I would go up to a heavier blanket. So my mom got it as a gift and I will have to get one for myself!

I was advised by a medial professional to try a weighted blanket for anxiety. I have been using it for about three weeks so far and although I do not see a difference in my anxiety levels so far, I am very please with the blanket. It is very, very warm -- we sleep with the window cracked during the winter so our bedroom is super cold, and I only need this blanket (normally I have layers of blankets). The smaller sewn "pockets" keep the weighted beads in place so the beads do not all slide to one side. I seem to be sleeping better at night, but do have to move it off of my feet and neck before going to sleep as I don't like the weight on those areas; however, draping our normal comforter/blankets that my husband uses over the bottom of my legs to cover my feet works well for me. I ordered the dark grey and it is true to colour and the fabric is luxuriously soft. I have not tried washing it yet, but I am pleasantly surprised at how much I am enjoying it so far.

I've always wanted to try a weighted blanket but it's typically quite expensive. This provides a good entry point to it and I'm glad I made the purchase. The blanket is soft enough and heavy enough to give a good comfortable night's sleep. If you'd like to give weighted blanket a try, this is a good option!

Blanket is just the right weight, provides the perfect warmth for winter to a room that's usually colder even with the heat running constantly. This is well, well worth the price. Been washing and hang-drying for several months and no issues. Solid quality, can see it lasting for a while.

Great weighted blanket. Mink feel is nice and not overly hot.Just need to recognise that it is not a full doona size blanket.Works for me as it sits on top of our main doona where the size does not interfere with the wifey who does not particularly like the weighted blanket. It is small enough to be pushed aside but large enough to cover 2 people when used as an over blanket.Prompt delivery despite Covid 19 lockdown.

I wasn't really sure how I'd like a weighted blanket as I'd only heard about them from others and never had the opportunity to try one myself. Got a sweet Amazon gift card from work and thought "what the heck I'll give it a try". This was honestly such a good choice and I'm disappointed I didn't get one sooner!It's very soft and from the looks of others on the site, it may be one of the softest out there. I've washed it twice with no problem (make sure to follow instructions). Weight distribution is perfect as they are separated in individual squares throughout the blanket. The other night while I was washing it I had to use my old duvet and noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY. It's one of those things you might not realize how good you have it until you go back to what you were using before!
