The Haunted Mansion Picture Book

I have been an Amazon Prime Member for a long long long time. I have ordered hundreds, perhaps thousands of items from Amazon. This book, is the best purchase I've ever made from here. Followed closely in second place by the Pirates of the Caribbean version of this book. The illustrations are gorgeous. The attractions themselves are classics. The illustrators manage to capture the spirit of the attractions beautifully. The books are short and sweet, perfect for reading to toddlers. Especially toddlers who have been to WDW. My son has read this collection of books every night since we returned from WDW 2 weeks ago. I am giving anyone reading this review a direct order to purchase this book. Then go purchase the Pirates version and the Small World version. Do it now!!!

Disney Parks Presents: The Haunted Mansion is a true favorite in my household. I discovered this book and the others in the series while randomly scrolling through amazon one day. I ended up purchasing the book and the others to give to my daughter (she is 7) on Christmas. She loved them and stopped opening gifts to begin reading them right there in front of the tree. The Haunted Mansion book wasn’t her favorite. It is well made, the illustrations are beautiful and when you read it you actually feel like your back at Disney World on the ride. The cd worked perfectly when we played it and the book was easy to read and follow along with.

Love this book. It is great for Disney parks fans. I had purchased a similar one for the Jungle Cruise that included a CD of the ride narration and I assumed this one had it too it doesn’t but that was my fault and I only mention it in case someone is like me and didn’t read the description.

This book is like a trip through the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. The book is based on the music on the attraction and the art work is just like a trip through the Haunted Mansion. The book comes with a CD of the music from the Haunted Mansion. The art work is very well done. It is a simple book but a nice addition to anyones Disneyland collection.

Super cool book, kind of a pain to play the song through dvd but it’s a treat when you do!

My boy got this book for his fifth birthday. He loves all things Halloween and “spooky—but not too spooky.” It has beautiful illustrations and captures the fun of the original ride. This book hits the sweet spot for my son. However, and it kills me to say this, the quality could be better for such a wonderful book. The pages started unbinding after a few days of use. As the pages started falling out, we performed emergency surgery with a lot of scotch tape and a descent dash of anxiety. My imperfect efforts may have been in vain, as the pages are falling out again. I am tempted to buy another one as this is a passionate favorite.

This is another must own book for any fan of the Haunted Mansion attraction. While any Disney Park audio collector will undoubtedly have several copies already of what is found on the CD, (it's the same park mix of Grim Grinning Ghosts that's been on the official park albums, unchanged for years) it's the book that's worth the money. Beautiful, full page illustrations of each scene in the Disneyland park version of the attraction fill each page, alongside the lyrics to the song.

Although written for a younger child, this beautifully illustrated book makes a great keepsake. The original music, included on CD, is a nice touch! Apparently, this is only the first installment of "Disney Parks Presents." Other iconic ride books to follow (i.e. Pirates of the Carribean, etc.)

Un bellissimo libro!!!!!

Wish the parks still made these. It was a limited series. The pirates of the Caribbean one is the best but you can’t buy it anymore unless it’s used. Amazon used to have a used book section and now I can’t find it anymore.

La description annonçait un cd avec le livre, c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que je l'ai acheté... sauf qu'il n'y a pas le cd, le livre est vendu seul ! Le livre n'étant composé que d'images avec les paroles de la chanson "Grimm grinning ghost", il n'a d'intérêt qu'avec le cd donc, sans lui, il perd toute sa valeur. Alors franchement, quasiment 20€ (avec frais de port) pour juste le livre, c'est de l'arnaque !!

A great story book with fantastic illustrations showing The Haunted Mansion in all it's ghostly glory! The CD included plays "Grim Grinning Ghosts" so that you can relive the popular attraction whilst reading through. I think this book would also be a great way to introduce children to the attraction before they go. Highly recommended for any Disney Parks fan, and I can't wait for the rest of the series!

Si eres fan de esta atraccion de Disney, lo necesitas en tu vida, es literalmente el recorrido de la mansion con ilustraciones muy lindas y con la letra de la cancion "Grimm ginning gosth" Yo que soy super fan estoy muy contenta con el libro.
