Literally the best stain removing product ever
I never voyeur writing reviews but this whole heartedly deserves a review. It’s the best cleaning product for clothes I have used. My son plays football 5 times a week and sometimes dirt and grime goes into his tops, normal vanish for whites and vanish colour doesn’t budge stubborn Staines. He slid on Astro in a white England kit (front and back) the white football top was covered in black marks that vanish failed to remove. I used this pen and effectively set to work on the top colouring over all the black marks. Put it back in the wash with colour vanish and it’s come out brand new. Prior to this I’d washed it 3 times with no luck. I’ve also used this to remove bright orange curry stain on a shirt and I’ve also used the pen on a white school polo that had permanent marker on. All the items look perfect now. No colour lost in the garments and stains completely vanished. All I do is colour over any stain with this pen and put it straight in the wash whilst the solution is wet on the stain. Literally can not recommend this enough, fantastic product. I pitched multiple of this as it’s a staple with washing football shirts with grass stains, black Astro stains and the odd food and pen marks. I’d love to give it 10/10

Saved my beige leather car seats but patience needed
Child car seat protector covers left black stains all over my rear beige leather car seats. The stains must have been there for around 3 months so were not fresh (discovered when one child threw up in the back of the car)! I tried absolutely everything to remove the stains - soap and water first, then furniture clinic dye remover, then their degreaser (which is also meant to “pull the stain out”), other leather care kit stain remover, nail varnish remover, whitening toothpaste, white paste stain remover etc. Nothing worked. The stains just would not budge. I then came across this product and based upon some of the other leather car seat stain reviews thought I would try it. I did a patch test which was fine and then got to work. I won’t lie - it has taken multiple applications over 2 weeks, sometimes leaving the product on for 2 days at a time and the use of the whole bottle. After the first 2 applications the stains only lightened ever so slightly and I thought it hadn’t worked but as there was no damage to the leather I persevered. It paid off as the stains are now finally gone. The leather is fine and I can see no lightening of the leather at all where the stains were. I did however condition the seats with leather balm between the long applications in case the product dried the leather out and again afterwards when the stains were gone.

Patches on Car Seat *UPDATED*
It did get rid of the stains to some degree but left my car seat completely ruined with patches. I’m scared to go over the dark bits as it might touch already lightened bits and make them even more lighter. I’ve followed all the instructions to the dot but this is unacceptable. I’ve tried to contact them but the phone lines are just going to their answering machine. UPDATE: I’m now changing my review from 1* to 4* purely for their customer service. They’re awesome. I’m still not sure about the product on big stains and fabric dye transfers unfortunately it did not work for me. But I think it might work on small spots like pen marks etc. But please do not make the same mistake and attempt to use this pen on a larger area, this is just for small spots or marks. Also They now have a spray version which I believe will work as a regular cleaner. Gary you deserve a trophy for your customer service thank you.

Not effective
Made a slight improvement in the interior pen mark on the inside of a leather bag, but hasn’t removed it. Also left a bit of a water mark / stain where I have tried to remove.

Is not a good product
This product is not ideal for the removing of pen stains like it says it is, it has made white stains all around the pen mark on my leather sofas and I would not recommend this at all. Really disappointed and it has ruined my new sofas!!!!

Fantastic Product and Outstanding Customer Service!
I used this in a desperate attempt to try and get rid of a black dye that had transferred from another garment onto my yellow faux leather jacket! I was not seeing any improvements after following the instructions so I contacted the company directly and not only did they advise me but they also allowed me to send the garment out to them for them to test out the best technique for me to try and the results speak for themselves. I am blown away by this product and I can confirm that it does work! Please note that the product is formulated for fabrics with good absorption properties so this is why my faux leather jacket was a difficult task but not impossible. I have to leave the product on for 48hrs and then rinse in cold water and just repeat this as many times as it takes. The results in the photos are after four washes. The amount that you receive in the pen will only work on small areas of stains so to tackle larger stains you may need to buy more than 1 pen or a refill of the liquid which you should be able to find via the company website.

Outstanding Service For an Outstanding product
The only thing comparable to MX14 in effectiveness, is the sheer awesomeness of the after sales service. When faced with a difficult challenge, most other products labelled as ‘stain remover’ would wave a little white flag and run off to matron while squealing ‘it can’t be done’. Thus, leaving the stain untouched and the garment owner nonplussed. But not for MX14. When others have given up, its response is a rallying cry of ‘hold my beer, I’m going in. Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast’. All you need to do is to let it soak in overnight to do battle with whatever unpleasantness is causing you strife and by morning MX14 returns triumphant, its foes vanquished, and back in time for tea and medals. For the more difficult enemy, a repeat attack may be called for. But each time you will see your troublesome opponent fading away, before finally being beaten into submission. So how can the customer service by the good folks at MX14 match up to this standard bearing flagship product of theirs? Well one way or another, they manage it. It is reassuring that dedication to the outstanding is not limited to product development. My situation was that I came across MX14 during a search for a stain remover that deserved to be called one. Sometime prior, I’d had a mishap with a printer cartridge, leaving a spray of ink spots on an otherwise perfectly serviceable shirt. Several washes, two products claiming to be stain removers, and passage of time had left the stains – rather than diminished – truly baked in. I am told that printer ink is chemically very similar to fabric colour. Several rounds with MX14 later, the stains were clearly diminishing, but the last remnants were refusing to disappear completely. So I fixed off a quick email to their HQ asking for clarification on a couple of points and for general guidance. To which I was astounded when Gary arranged for a courier to take delivery of my shirt, into the hands of their lab team. For them to voluntarily use my case for R&D into their product development when they could have just shrugged that there are limits to what it can do, is truly incredible. Chaps, I doff my hat to you all.

Still have stains
This product is claimed to clean ink stains. We had a guest who unfortunately left ink stain on a bedspread. Try as we could following the instruction the stain persisted a little less marked than originally but still very much present. I could not recommend it.
