It doesn’t really work on flies

I’m really impressed with this fruit fly trap. It was extremely easy to set up — just pour in the ready-to-use lure liquid and you’re good to go. I also love the cute apple-shaped design; it looks pleasant sitting on the counter, not like a typical bug trap. Best of all, it actually works! Within just one day, the trap caught six fruit flies. I’m definitely satisfied with how quickly it made a difference. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with those annoying little pests!

Compared to reviews saying these little buggers don't work, I say they work great. Can't believe it took me decades to think of fruit fly traps for my kitchen. I put one next to my compost pail and one in my hanging fruit basket, and the first pair eliminated the flies. After 45 days, I put out another pair which has caught one fly, because there aren't any more. I'm considering having a pair in place at all times. Great to be rid of the flies. 2023 follow-up: Someone asked whether the ffs get accustomed to the poison and so the traps become less effective over time. Two years later, I can say the traps keep working great. I keep one in my hanging fruit basket and that takes care of my kitchen. There are at least a dozen dead flies in my trap right now. After vacuuming up flies, I may have none for a few months. When they start showing up, I put out another trap.
