The most stunning guitar!
The media could not be loaded. So I will start by saying I am a complete beginner. My new years goal for 2023 was to finally learn to play guitar a bit. I do NOT aspire to be an amazing musician or anything. I’m 38 and a stay at home mom. I want to be able to play songs around the fire pit or sing some Christmas songs with my kids. Basic stuff.I first ordered a beginner guitar from Amazon that was super cheap. But. When I started playing it, that’s exactly how it felt. Super cheap. I felt like I was playing a toy. So that same week I decided I needed to spend a little more money and get something a bit more real.I looked and just completely fell in love with the look of this one. I loved the dark wood and the glossy look of this guitar. I was worried about it being too big for me to hold comfortably though. When it arrived, the look of it was just stunning. I mean. It is GORGEOUS! Everyone who sees this guitar gives me compliments. It IS big for me and at first I thought I might return it but couldn’t bare to part with it since it was so stunning.Over the past few months that I’ve had it, I’ve gotten used to the size. The size just feels normal now.I got this in the spring and haven’t devoted much time to trying to learn playing. I mostly watch YouTube videos and did a subscription to the Justin Guitar app for a few months. I can play C, A, G, E, D, a modified F, Em, Am, and Dm. And with my capo that means I can attempt to play many songs.I don’t really have much to compare this guitar to, except for the cheap guitar I bought first, but this guitar is perfect for me.It came tuned and has really for the most part stayed in tune. The sound sounds good to me. I share this video of me playing, but be aware that I’m still getting the hang of pressing the strings close enough to the frets/hard enough to have the notes ring out clear without buzzing. I’m still getting the hang of it.Overall, I think this was a great guitar for me as a complete beginner. I also think it would be perfect for experienced players. It was an AMAZING price! And the look of it is so stunning. The dark wood and glossy finish are jaw-dropping. I’m so pleased with this purchase! And I’m excited to learn to play better.

This guitar hits all of my requirements.
Pretty damn great for $200. Relief and string height were perfect right out of the box. No further setup needed. I switched out the factory .012 strings for a set of D'Addario .10s which are my sweet spot. Decent sustain, tone, and the parlor guitar size is perfect for noodling in the living room.Edit: a few day of use and I'm loving this guitar. Ups my game for certain.

Nice beginner guitar I hear
Started learning how to play guitars not too long ago and got this to replace some cheap Chinese made one from a pawn shop.I heard Fender was one of the best brands to start off with. $200 is pretty dang affordable too.It is skinnier and more ergonomic which I like. The strings it comes with sound decent and although it's not made in the USA, at least it ain't China.Looking forward to improving my skills further before eventually upgrading to something even better.Made in Indonesia

Quality guitar
This guitar was very well made. Finish and sound were both great. I had to return it because the steel strings were too hard for me to play as I normally play a classical nylon string guitar. This is my fault not the products fault. I would easily recommend the Fender brand to anyone. And big thanks to Amazon for allowing a free 30 day return. It is why I have been a loyal Amazon customer for decades.

A Nice Guitar for the Price
It is a nice looking unit, for sure, and I actually like the gloss finish all over, which some have had issue with. Mine had the action a little low, resulting in some quite prevalent fret buzz mostly about halfway up the neck, especially with the crap tens it came with. Barre-chording was not pleasant. At least I think they were tens—I dunno. They were not that great at all whatever they were. Though I considered sending the thing back, I instead upped the gauge to 12 (Martin cheapos) and put a slight shim under the saddle. I used a strip cut from a credit card. The neck was straight, so I did that before I tried easing up the truss rod. Anyway, it plays great all over now, and my son will be psyched for his birthday here in a few days. It is relatively easy to play, even with the higher action. Overall build quality is nice, but it does border on that overbuilt sound. I have an Aria parlor-esque guitar that was comparable in price but is much louder, despite being considerably smaller than this dreadnought size. Overall a good buy. The solid top will improve with age, and the tone even now is very pleasant and loud. A superb strummer and an awesome looker for the two bills.

Once you pick this thing up you can’t put it down.
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful guitar. Best 200 I've spent. Low action easy to play. It has been through searing heat and freezing cold and hasn’t bowed on me. Stays in tune very well. I love this guitar.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
first off, the mahogany color is absolutely beautiful!! I just love looking at it... so, I am a 40 yr old beginner, but my son has been playing for a few years, so I got this guitar for my birthday (41)... I let him take a look at it and he love it as well!! He got to playing it, checking it out thoroughly paying attention to the sound quality, telling me how it stacks up against the competition, and I trust his word, and his word was good!! as I began playing it, I paid attention to the tone myself, its easy to tune, stays in tune, and the more I play and learn the more I fall in love with it... not to mention 3 months of lessons from a major guitar manufacturer is impressive!! for a beginner I would go this route, highly recommended, 5 stars!
