I have found that these bluetooth gizmos either use no code, 0000, or 1234. One of those ought to work.

Will this work with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0?

I looked up the specs on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. It does have Bluetooth on it. The BT-821C should work with it. I am using this on an Addroid tablet with Android 4.1 and it works great. Here is what you need to do:You will need to install an app called "GPSInfo" from google play, and your favorite navigation app (mine is CO-Pilot Premium USA)Pair the bluetooth device with 0000 as the pairing code. Set to allow MOCK location from developer settings.This is a great GPS receiver and small enough to fit about anywhere.

Does this work with Fire he 8 for Pokémon go?

I dont know but it does work great on farm equipment to link to tablets
