One nib of each pen was completely dry
The bullet nib on one pen, and the chisel nib on the other pen were completely dry. The other nib on each pen had some ink. One of the bullet nibs was also a bit frayed and the pkg appeared that it might have been returned by someone else, either that or it was just in bad shape. I did lay the pens horizontally for several weeks before I got back to them to check on them. Nope, that didn't help at all, the two nibs were still completely dry. Also, the chisel nibs on these pens were extremely small even if they had worked, but some people may prefer that.

The smaller end was a bit too big for the place cards I was going to use them for but I'm sure I'll get good use of these for other projects.

Great coverage and writes smoothly
These write very smoothly and have strong color (not transparent). I will be using these for future projects and cards! They also don’t have a strong scent, so I am able to use them for more than a few minutes and don’t need to air the room out like I must with other markers.

Very pretty - I like to use these when writing out cards and their envelopes. My handwriting has gotten a bit poor over the years - but the calligraphy style of these pens hides my flaws and makes the writing look really nice!

Pens were completely dry and did not write. Had to return.
The pens had an expiration date of 2016 (this is 2019) and were COMPLETELY DRY.Gladly, Amazon accepted my return but what a waste of time.

Gold pen completely dried out when I went to use it for the first time. Silver pen looks very opaque and would work well (I only need the gold one though so it is unfortunate to have to wait for another one)

The silver marker arrived all dried up. I couldn’t even finish writing a name on a card, so the marker also cost me the ruined greeting card.
