Was to small for my filter had to customize it, but is great for African dwarf frogs

Too small for an average motor and had to throw it away.

This is a must if you are using a high flow filter for your aquarium with small fish. I have not lost any fish since installing this filter guard. Highly recommend.

The mesh is very fine, I would estimate the holes in the mesh to be around 0.5mm.

these filters have many uses, i have found loads...

The rims are super sharp and I am concerned that it could damage shrimp and snails as they graze over it. I realize that you need to take the strainer off of your filter to fit it on but the hole is so tiny I can’t possibly fit it into the intake pipe and it’s just a small filter for a nano tank. I may be able to modify it but considering how sharp the metal rims are I guess I’ll just chalk it up to lesson learned. If it’s cheap then the item probably is too. It also took forever to get here. The slow boat from China.. or Singapore actually lol.

Also den Anspruch an Hochwertigkeit würde ich nicht unterschreiben....Zuallererst fiel mir der doch strenge Geruch auf. ( Gott sei dank, denn es waren wohl Ölrückstände von der Herstellung ) Nach einer Wäsche in Aceton war der Geruch wohl weg, aber beim Versuch das Teil auf mein Saugrohr aufzustecken, erwies sich der Gummi doch als sehr unnachgiebig. Naja, fürs Geld........

Dieser Edelstahlfilter passt ganz genau auf die dünnen Rohre für das Aquarium. Achtung beim Aufstecken:Trotz Vaseline ist der Gummiring nicht elastisch genug so das Gefahr besteht den Boden des Filters abzutrennen.Ist mir beim ersten mal passiert, da er aber geklebt ist kann man sich leicht helfen.

Nach einer langen Wartezeit und hohem Einsatz des Verkäufers ist der Artikel direkt aus China eingetroffen. Der erste Filter war auf dem Luftpostweg verschollen. Der Verkäufer hat sich mit viel Mühe gekümmert.Der Filter entspricht den Erwartungen und wird verhindern, dass kleine Garnelen im Topffilter verschwinden. Der Anschluss hat einen sehr kleinen Durchmesser, lässt sich aber mit etwas Bastelarbeit gut anpassen.
