Works fine, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that the stopper in the picture is upside down.

Winemakers - READ! Faulty product!!!
Ba aware, this airlock is faulty. Air can leak into your wine/fermenter through the rubber stopper. The shaft that connects with the rubber stopper is not smooth. The seam is protruding, so the seal is not adequate. This allows for a small amount of air continually access the inside of your fermenter.

Perfect for Hard Cider
These are dandy, and fit a standard glass growler just fine. It is indeed quite annoying that the product photo depicts them upside-down and backwards. Don't install them that way, they won't work.I used them to brew some tasty hard cider, and they worked perfectly. Sterilized by simmering them gently in a pot of filtered water for a minute.Perhaps if you're brewing professionally, you might want some fancy version with silicone and glass, or those weird metal airlocks that beer brewers use. This little rubber and plastic airlock is just fine for the hobbyist.

Works great in full size growlers
On a whim, I decided to try making blackberry wine from berries in my backyard. The process was supposed to be cheap and easy. Initially I was going to use a balloon on the growler after primary fermentation, but these were such a great price for 3 of them, that I decided to up my game. They fit perfectly in the growlers and are bubbling away. My recipe made more than I expected so all 3 have been put to use. I highly recommend this for beginners using growlers for wine making!

Will ultimately do the trick with tape added lol
These are quite difficult to keep tight in my one gallon jug, I made sure the area was dry but the plug keeps wanting to push out. I will tape it down if I need to but I feel like I shouldn't have to. Overall it should be better than the plastic screw on I was using that quickly lost air tightness.

Work good
Great deal. I am now making 4Liter batches of wine in used one gallon wine bottles. It still cracks me up how that picture is bass-ackwards though. The airlock is upside down and the stopper is on wrong. However, it is still the best deal on airlocks and stoppers here. And I will probably buy some more from this seller. P.S. A number 6 stopper will work on a carboy. Although it is possible to push it all the way into the bottle if you're not careful. So it should be a bit larger. I am now making five gallon batches of wine and bought some 6.5 stoppers for these airlocks on my carboys.Cheers

Works ok even though is Plastic
Funny how the picture shows item been used wrong. Disappointed that is made out of plastic. Feels very cheap. Will look for a glass option. They fit a gallon wine bottle.

These are convenient and cheap, and it is handy ...
These are convenient and cheap, and it is handy to have the 3 pack because I believe i broke one the first time getting it into the bung. I didn't examine the product before sterilization so I'm not sure if it was already damaged. bungs fit in the one gallon jugs of whole foods apple cider. They also do not stick in the jug if they are wet, so dry them with a clean towel before inserting into the jug for a secure fit.
