Tintin Paperback Boxed Set 23 titles

Great addition to my library. I grew up reading Tintin (in French), and I wanted my kids to have the same experience. They transport you places only these can.

Been reading these stories since I was a child. This set has two that were not in my family collection, but all the others I have read multiple times. Brother got the family set in his inheritance, so I ordered this one to have my own. Good, clean entertainment. But, treat the binding with care, our old family set has loose pages and we eventually adopted a policy of squeezing the binding with one hand while reading to prevent further damage. I intend to do the same with this new set for long term preservation.

I don’t bother writing reviews, but I just felt inspired to share my happiness by leaving a review for a series that brought so much joy to me during my childhood days. As a grown adult, I felt like a kid again when this package arrived. Before I opened it up, I even thanked God to express my deep gratitude for this profound nostalgia. The package arrived in great condition, the case and book quality was all impeccable! Felt really good holding one of these books. I’m soo looking forward to reading these during bedtime instead of mindlessly viewing screens and ruining my melatonin production for optimal sleep. Btw, they were all Egmont not Little Brown. Not sure if that matters to you but some others review gave lower stars because of not all books being Egmont. Unrelated Commentary: Lately I’ve been pondering on this quote by Rumi: “What you seek is seeking you." A buyer is seeking the seller and vice versa. All of us have unique gifts that we’re capable of giving to this world. Gifts that can bring joy in people’s lives or reduce the suffering or hardships of people. Just like how the creators of this comic shared their gifts to bring us joy, let us also do our part and continue this wonderful cycle of serving fellow human beings and all other living things by sharing our gifts. I say this because we need to stop procrastinating and convert our creative ideas into reality and share our gifts. Don’t selfishly be just a consumer, you must also be a creator! You don’t realize how desperately people are seeking what you have to offer until you make them and share them with the world. Now that I’ve received this comic series, because of the joy it brought in my life, I can say that I was truly seeking what the creators of this comic were seeking.

Wow, this is a beautiful and almost complete paperback set of the Adventures of TinTin. Only title missing is TinTin in the Congo, which I purchased separately (only available in hardcover). I would love to have a complete hardcover set of this size, but this is as close as I could find. I loved this series as a child, and wanted to have a set to share with future grandchildren. These are the large sized books in full color from publisher Egmont (with the exception of TinTin in the Land of the Soviets which is black and white) - 9" W x 12" tall. I will say it is a bit difficult to pull out a volume as they are tightly packed in the slipcase box, but that's a minor point. Just turn the box over so that slide out. I am glad I opted for this large size, as opposed to the smaller versions where multiple volumes are group together in a hardcover - I imagine they would have been difficult to read and enjoy the illustrations. I know I will enjoy re-reading these adventures!

8 year old has devoured them. My kids love the movie. Basically Indiana Jones lite.

The books were in really good condition but the case they come in was severely damaged.
