Mouth Mount for GoPro®

Very useful and unique accessory for POV shots. The mouth mount lets you capture really immersive first-person footage while keeping your hands completely free. It feels comfortable enough for short to medium use, and the bite grip is secure once you get used to it.The build quality is good and the camera stays stable for activities like biking, surfing, or skating. It also works well with quick-release GoPro mounts, which makes switching setups easy.Only downside is that it can feel a bit awkward at first, and wearing it for a long time can be tiring on the jaw. Also, it’s not something you’d use for every type of shoot.

I loved this product, for the 4 hours I was able to use it. Of no fault of the product, I no longer have my Hero4 Black. It was stolen while loading my jet skis.Now for the review.I immediately got used to breathing with the device in my mouth, really comfortable and not obtrusive at all. I was worried about the quality of the plastic etc. but everything performed perfectly. I do some semi-intense jet ski (stand-up) stuff (submarine dives, jumps, falling at high speeds) and never felt like this product would injure me or hurt me in anyway. It is a sturdy but forgiving little guy.Pros:- Great Quality- Customer Service is off the charts, owner of the company responded to my inquiries- POV seemed great (again, never was able to review the footage)Cons:- With the floaty backdoor, it is easy for your face to push the floaty and change the angle, easily adjusted- Slight discomfort at first, but quickly adjusted to it.

Works great for POV shots. Great quality. Easy to use while surfing & turtle rolling. Easy to clean.

Worked well but I prefer a scuba mount. It reminded me of xrays at the dentist.

Great product and great price

Used it once, works perfect. My only comment is that I think the "leash" that comes with it looks pretty weak. Notice the tiny little string that connects the shoelace to the mouth mount? Not sure how it will hold up in bigger surf, but I'm going to replace with a shoelace. Can't be taking chances.I am a bit concerned with getting hit in the head with the gopro if I fall, but what can you do?Also worth noting that the picture here shows a gopro float attached - but the float is not included in with the "mouth mount" snorkle.(Picture is in tiny surf)

Used it for recording while swimming! Its great! Fits perfectly and very comfortable!

It was working out great, until the one time it slipped out of my hands. After riding my waves, i would grab it from my mouth before jumping off, just to not take chances that the neck leash on this product would do it's job.. Well, the one time the camera slipped out of my hands in the whitewash -- which it was only a head high wave -- I felt the neck leash tug just one minor time and then release... At that moment i knew the cam popped off. I frantically looked around in that zone, but with all the whitewash from the next waves rolling through and darker/sandy water, i knew it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack and blind. Even still, i went back to the beach and paced back-n-forth for an hour, hoping it would wash up.. no dice... Not only did i lose my fairly new GoPro10, but some really cool 'from inside the barrel' clips on my trip to Nicaragua. Hindsight -- I should have put a floatation on the camera and not just think the neck leash that comes with this mouth mount would be sufficient. Hard lesson learned.. So i warn you, if you get this, don't just think you're good to go with the neck leash, get a float for the cam!
