Zombie 15'

Ok, I normally wouldn't do this but I am. I have not actually played the game yet. I have had it about 4 months and have not had a chance to play it. I haven't played because all of my game nights have had 5 people and they have shown up almost at the same time not leaving time to get a scenario in when there is just 4 of us. I will say how can you not like it? It is a game produced by arguably one the best game companies out second only to (in my mind) Days of Wonder. Iello has put out some beautiful games and this is no exception. I agree the miniatures are not up to par with lets say Zombicide*...but those also come from a company called, "Cool mini or Not". But when you get down to it this game has to be great. The theme is there, there is a story to along with the game, the artwork is outstanding, there is a sound track and it is played in 15 min or less. How many times have you sat and played a game and about an hour into just wished it was over? I know I have. 15 min and you are done, no down time between turns, no irritating friend who has to over analyze each decision he makes...there is no time for that crap! Also this game is pretty easy to teach unlike Zombicide which has a lot of, you can do this but you cant do that going on. Zombie 15 is simple, 4 actions. In those you can search, kill, or move.So to recap why you couldn't dislike the game:-Iello- Great company producers of games that have gorgeous artwork and components such as King of Tokyo, King of New York and Heroes of Normandie.-Immersive theme- Zombie miniatures, a sound track and a story line which enables scenarios able to be played like a campaign mode.-No down time- Each scenario plays in 15 min.-K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)- Super easy to learn and teach no clutter in the rules and no refering to the book during the game cause, "Ain't nobody got time for that!".* I do own Zombicide as well, and have played in many times and love it, because of the ability to play up to 6.

Good game but lots of set up for a quick 15 min game. Fun though.

Although the set up seems overwhelming at first, once you do it three or four times it gets easy. There are actually 20 senarios, 10 with the game and 10 you can download. The characters are fun, all teenagers, and all the components are good quality. The zombies and artwork are fun, comic style, not overly gory or disgusting. I play with my kids ,8 and 12, they love it and find it as scary as goosebumps (TV show, books). I would recommend visiting the zombie 15 website for those interested in buying the game, it has all the sound tracks and scenario books, plus alternate music tracks. They are all downloadable and free. It's a great companion site.It now only takes us about 5 to 7 mins to set up a scenario and play. I found it more fun then Zombies!!! and more family friendly than Zombiecide. I like Zombiecide but it takes longer, its too gory and invovled for the preteens.

Fun game, well crafted and a unique style of play for the less competitive game night. As others have said the only real draw back is the set up time, which is not huge, but is more than the time you will spend playing the game. The developers did create challenges in pairs, so you can do two rounds back to back without too much extra set up for the second round. My only concern so far is that this game will get "played out" fairly quickly because in the end it all comes down to "get weapons, use weapons, move, repeat" The challenges get harder, but what you can actually do is fairly limited. We'll be playing with several house rule variations at some point to keep it fresh, and the game lends itself to creative set up very well. Be sure to watch some of the "how to play" videos on you tube to be sure the style is for you. Some people will love the frantic nature of it, some will hate it. It's too expensive to buy without having some idea first. Enjoy!

Once you get through the set up this game is awesome. The rules are easy to read and interpret especially if you are a veteran board gamer. We are used to setting up these kinds of games so it wasn't a big deal. However, you definitely want to have a system in place or set up will take forever. We just put the tiles in order and set up takes about 10-15 minutes. It is definitely faster if two people are helping set up. One can get the board set and the other can start distributing the zombies. Once we got the hang of this game we spent hours playing (way longer than we expected) but only because we couldn't stop playing! I think we ended up playing 4 campaigns in a row. We are still working through the first campaign but with the different options for characters it looks like this game should have staying power. We've only played 2 player and are excited try it out with more people. So, yes, you'll be killing a LOT of zombies in this game. It moves fast. Extremely fast, because there's a 15-minute timer on the game (just look it up on Youtube). Though we own 100s of games, this one was a huge hit with our kids. The rules start off simply, but develop by stages -- brilliant for teaching 9 and 11 year olds. The components, for a measly $24, are amazing and there's a LOT of components in here.Honestly, just a great family game if you don't mind hearing your kids say "kiil" over and over. Haha...

Really enjoy this. It works very well with two people as you are two characters each. Really you need to play with the same person/people each time you play (unless you start the scenarios from scratch with a different group of players) as you have to be quite speedy in your play, and you do need a bit of luck on your side as the scenarios get harder. The scenarios start gentler so that you get used to the game; so, as it is a team game, you ideally need to develop your game at the same pace: it is a real team game, and somebody not used to playing will hold you back. Initially I found it a little tense, but now I'm used to playing under pressure; and one does get a sense of achievement when one completes each scenario. My teenage son loves it; we play together, and have successfully completed all the beginner scenarios: some took a few attempts. We still have intermediate and advanced to go.

Llego antes de la fecha estimada! Excelente servicio! En la calidad de producto es excelente, tanto las losetas, cartas, ilustraciones, caja, y sus componentes, lo unico que las figuras de los jugadores como los zombies si de calidad media! Me esperaba mas calidad en detalle de eso! En la jugabilidad todo esta muy bien, es entretenido, tiene muchas variantes de juegos y muchas cosas por hacer para ganar, tambien destaca con todo el equipo que vas adquiriendo! Todo muy bien! Lo unico que no me gusto y creo que es la critica de este juego es el tiempo! Que son partidas de 15 minutos, tienes que estar haciendo las cosas rapidas para ganarle al tiempo y asi no disfrutas el juego! Pero nada que se pueda modificar! Ya que para poder disfrutar mas del luego y hacer las cosas con calma, e cambiado las reglas a 30 y 45 minutos las partidas y asi se disfruta nas el juego! De ahi en fuera! Es un excelente juego! Lo recomiendo!

I love this game so much. It takes a while to get everyone used to helping out during another player's turn, but it's just hectic fun.Set up between games can take a while but you can drastically reduce this by teamwork and not worrying about getting the exact tiles by number and just grabbing any tile with the same features.It's a simple game to play but very challenging to beat, which is great.Just tremendous fun as long as everyone helps out.Buy it.

まず最初に・・・説明書が折れ曲がっていた・・・。これは結構ショック。あと、説明書の梱包物の確認には「探索カードは５６枚」あると記載されており、実際にちゃんと探索カードが５６枚ある。でも、その中から「探索カードは武器とゾンビをすべて入れると５０枚になる」とルールブックに記載されているのに、枚数を数えると実際には４９枚。総数が合っているのに、必要枚数を抜くと数が合わない・・・。単にルールブックが間違っているのか、梱包ミスか。ゾンビフィギアが全部で１００体あるはずなのだけど、数えた方がいいのかなぁ。面倒だから数えてないけど・・・。タイルやらフィギアやらは、凄く雰囲気が良いですね。シナリオも１５あって、ボリュームもある。シナリオ毎にタイルを並べなきゃいけないのが、ちょっと面倒で時間がかかる。１回のゲーム時間が１５分なのに、準備にはもっと時間がかかってしまう(笑)でもまぁ、これ系のゲームなら仕方ない感じも。＊＊＊さて、ゲームの内容としては「スピード処理ゲーム」です。制限時間１５分の間に、コマを進め、ゾンビを倒しながら、ゴールを目指す。相当、セコセコ動かにゃきゃ、クリアが難しい。そのため、ゾンビ発生やアイテムゲットなどを他のプレイヤーと分担してさっさと処理していかないといけない。ちゃんとルールブックにも、それが記載されている。プレイヤーとしては処理時間をできるだけ短縮したいため、そのうちゾンビを立らせずに転がしたり、銃の玉も指定された場所に置かなかったり。面倒くさくなって、雑に雑に雑にプレイが進んでいく。制限時間１５分を知らせるCDは雰囲気があって凄く良い。最初のサイレンの音は、特にホラーという雰囲気♪　ただ、先にも述べたように雑に雑にプレイが進んでくるようになると、何か作業的になっていって、BGMのホラー感は感じなくなってくる・・・。制限時間は緊迫感というよりは、圧迫感。「時間に追われる作業」的になりがち。制限時間のCDが付いているのは面白いアイデアだと思うけど、ちょっと大味すぎる印象を受けます。＊＊＊追記シナリオ６までクリアして・・・。もう少し回数を重ねてくると、途中で面白い場面がいくつか出てきた。大量にゾンビが発生し、武器もなく、なす術もない状態で、仲間が助けに来るなど、ちょっと良い展開。それでも、１分ごとにゾンビが現れるので、パニック的な面白要素は確かにある。・・・また、このゲームは１５分制限というのが、すこぶる難易度が高い！ゴールギリギリでクリアできないという場面が多く、良い時間配分だと思う。ただ、自分たちで考えてクリアを目指すというよりは、運で左右される部分が多いため、やっぱり、大味。あとは、自分でオリジナルのマップを作ったりできるのは面白いかなぁ。
