Work as Described
I just bought the Canon EOS 800D / T7i and I had a set of old generic lenses for my original SLR, a Pentax K1000 which I haven't used in many years. I thought I'd try these to see if I could take the lenses out of hibernation. These work nicely, as described. Of course, no automatic functions work. You use these strictly in manual mode but that's what I expected. As one buyer commented, they are fairly hard to remove when locked into place on the lens. I found that they can mount on the camera without fully locking them to the lens, but if you do lock them in place, it's a bit tricky to hold the locking tab while untwisting. Be patient and you'll get it unlocked.I'm using these with a wide angle lens, and an 80-400mm zoom lens.

I returned these because they did not lock the lens into place.
These fit beautifully on to my Pentax lenses and even gave me some digital connection between camera and lens so that I did not have to shoot in manual always. But once the lens was attached, they would easily fall off the camera body because they did not lock into place. These lenses were not push-pull lenses And there was no resistance at all keeping them attached to the camera when I turn the lens to zoom. I wish this company made such a lens adapter.

Has a few quirks but they can be worked around
Its fit is not ideal. It's not very clicky its just stops turning with friction when connecting the K lens. This doesn't really bug me that much as I know it's not supposed to be a high-end adapter. The most annoying quirk by far though is the fact that if you try to shoot from live view on a canon rebel 800D (T7i) it will not take the shot it gives you an error. This is not to say you cannot focus in live view you just have to turn it off in order to take the shot. Annoying yes. Dealbreaker note really. If you have the money though you might want to spend a little more. This is perfectlyfunctional and has focus confirmation that is pretty good.Update: After some adjustment with a micro screwdriver which should not have needed to be made for a product that is supposed to fit the K mount. I made the fit perfect. Not more fear of destroying lenses. Still not happy about the lack of being able to shoot in live view. A quirk I will just have to get over. Might want to just go with a chipless adapter for this one

The contacts do worse than nothing
The contacts send aperture data to the camera when the camera is generally unaware of the actual aperture... As such, the exposure was messed up for every picture I took with a DSLR.I had to shoot the camera full manual which kinda defeats the point of having ae chips on the camera. Also my focus confirmation was severely off.The adapter works fine in video mode however.

Didn't work on PK lens
Really bizarre adapter. No matter how I try to force it on, it doesn't work and the fitment is crap. Not easy to use and looked quite scratched up from the plastic wrap it was in. What a waste of $16! Just get a different blank adapter without the circuit board attached to it. That will work without the stress that this one with the chip did for me.TLDR: It didn't work. Didn't click securely onto the Pentax lens I had. Way too much stress for an adapter. Skip this and buy a blank cheap $10 PK lens adapter. You'll be saving yourself from a headache.

Does it’s job
Picked up a vintage 28mm prime manual focus PK mount lens at a second hand store and I got this to put it on my Canon DSLR. My camera gets a little confused by the presence of AF contacts on the adapter but no AF in the lens - so that’s fun. But other than that - The EF camera mount is solid and the friction-fit PK lens mount fits snugly.
