As a math tutor, I like adding these to my agenda. The fraction dice seem a little confusing to students, but it was ok.

This game is a must have for learners. It reinforces the skills taught in school and they can master the skills by doing it in a fun way. Stress-free for parents!

I was excited to play this game with my daughter. We followed the directions and each started with 7 dominoes. We laid one in the center and proceeded to find a match. It took picking up a crazy amount of dominoes to find one. It turns out there are 28 pieces with 14 different answer possibilities. So each expression only has 2 tiles out there that will work to solve it. I think this game would work a lot better if there were less possible answers, and more tiles. With classic dominoes, there are only 6 different possibilities. They could easily do that here. One way to make this game work would be to maybe break it in half and buy it in multiples. So you have x=1 - x=7 from two games. Then you'll have 28 dominoes with only 7 possible answers. That would ease some frustrations, but the downside is you're repeating some equations. You could do the same thing with the rest of the answers for a more advanced version of the game. So it's a terrible design flaw that's going to make me buy another one lol. But unless you plan on buying multiple sets, it's way too tedious and really not fun. So much potential though!

First, the quality and sturdiness of these dominos is great. However, you have to know your audience. I bought this for my classroom for students just learning algebra (grade 5/6) who struggle with school and abstract concepts. There is a lot of operations involved in understanding how these for together, and only a couple of mine got it and we ended up just playing it like a puzzle. My own kids, who are mathematically advanced, did very well with it.
