Euro-Notions 1786 Leather Machine Needles-Size 110-18 5-Pkg by Schmetz

This was the only needle I found I could get good stitches with #69 thread sewing through leather with my straight stitch Juki. I bought every needle size I could. I think I will have to get a bigger plate though..it's tight because mine doesn't have the extra space like a zig zag machine does...Strong needle too, it does a big hole, but I like that look on leather.

I have Bernina sewing machine and these type of needles work well. But the price of these needles were way higher and i tried to cancel order 3 times kept saying order could have shipped and that wasn't true cause it took several days for it to be delivered so then I have tried to return and I can't find any where it says that this item is non returnable. but that is message I get.

This seems to be a very good needle. It fits my Janome DC2012. I only used it on some scrap leather and it worked very well. This was two layers of 3.5 oz leather. I felt like it could have handled thicker leather if needed.

Using these to sew heavy thick layered outdoor Sumbrella / Duck Canvas fabric curtains for my roof deck and thick multilayered upholstery fabric for my upholstery project. Works great.

Work great with my Singer heavy sewing machine. Tried the Singer leather needles and they broke and couldn’t handle the leather i was using. These cut right through like butter!

Less expensive than buying at my local sewing supply store.

I was able to upholster two cars seats made with hair on cowhide on the seating surfaces and vinyl on the sides and back. It took about two needles per seat.

I'm newby in sewing , I'm learning a lot about different neddles and this work perfect on leather I completely recommend this product
