I really liked the trousers -- great material and feel (lined with soft, warm fleece), completely waterproof (tested one area in the sink) and a very nice style, lovely colour & perfect fit. Unfortunately they were too short and I had to return them. I'm a bit under 170cm height and their length was above the ankle; they seemed quite short even with walking boots (a perfect length would be to cover the ankle). They might fit well on someone less tall and this is why I gave them 5 stars.

Very comfy for waterproofs. Fleece lining soft but not hot. Length good for me. Sit just over my walking boot tops. Only downside is the waist. Ordered a 10-12 and the waist has a good 6 inch extra on me. I am more a size 10 so expected some room. Got rid of the belt, too skinny and flimsy, and used my old favourite but not ideal as there is so much gathering between the belt loops. Wearing a tucked in vest to prevent chaffing. Bum and hips fit ok so have kept them. All in all excellent value and good quality. Haven’t tested the waterproof bit, but mud splatters just wipe off and don’t seep through. Might try the 8-10 but not sure I can be bothered with the faff of returning them if they’re too tight. Would recommend for daily dog walks.

Large size is a very comfortable fit for a size 14-16. I have used these on several hikes, very warm and waterproof, quite flexible for climbing rocks, and easy to clean. Very happy

Fit well around the waist etc, nice and thick and warm but about 5 inches too short in the leg unfortunately. I am 5ft 7". I will return them.

Very warm and comfortable, they come up quite big but they’re for work so no bothered. They are very warm and so far the keep me dry. They was well and dry quickly

I was in a mad rush to get some warm waterproof trousers before the freezing UK weather arrived and these trousers definitely delivered on the promise! I did not wear any underlayers and the fleece lining kept me very comfortable and warm the whole time.I do not know yet if they are completely waterproof during torrential downpours but I can definitely say that they can whitstand light rain (and snow). As you can see in the pictures, they are very muddy and dirty but none of that got on my skin so definitely great for mucky walks!The fit is true to size - I am somewhere between UK size 10-12 which is what I ordered and they fit great! They are not tight and not too loose either. You also get a little belt with it to tighten the waist if needed.I will be ordering a second pair!

Haven’t worn these outside yet but these were exactly what I was looking for for winter hiking. Will not even need a base layer under these & are not baggy or loose like ‘snow’ pants but fit is good, material & zipper seems quite durable. Looking forward to trying them.UPDATE: amazing pants, warm yet breathable & have worn with or without base layer…so awesome just wish there were more colors!!
