Stinger SGP35 500-AMP High Current Battery Relay and Isolator, 12V (Black)

Use this with my 12K winch on my Jeep JLU. Wired to a factory auxiliary switch it offers an extra level of protection and eliminates a high amperage hot wire running though the engine compartment to the front bumper. I bought this brand based on positive reviews and was going to go cheap on an item that could cause a fire if it failed.

I bought several cheaper solenoids for my dump trailer before I bought this one. The contacts in the cheap ones immediately welded together and wouldn’t shut off. This one works great.

Looks great and is heavier than the cheep Chinese relay that failed after a month. Slightly disappointed that this relay is still made in China. Amazon got this relay to me the next day which was very helpful! I will update how it holds up and see if the price tag promises quality.

Bought this to wire my jeeps winch up to my voswitch panel so I can turn my winch on and off with my switch panel. Works great, went with the higher amperage one because winches under high load can pull 400+ amps. Plus I don’t like having a constant positive wire running through my jeep incase of wire rubbing or a fender bender causing a short. Easy to install and wire up if you have a basic knowledge of wiring. Will buy again

This thing as soon as you pick it up you know its built with quality. I haven't yet installed this in my vehicle but to make sure everything was working good I have test the relay and everything seems to be working good. Only issue I could see with installing this is that it may be a bit large to hide away in a smaller truck or car. I recommend everyone looking to purchase one just to purchase the 500 amp then you can cover all the bases without worrying if you are within the amp rating. I definitely would recommend getting this relay from searching for other ones this one seems the most high-quality.

Installed is as a bypass of my backhoe solenoid. Really need a new starter and solenoid but this is keeping me going so far

I used this as a relay to power up my electric winch on my 4x4. Works great. Would recommend.
