what suction?
You have to weight the base, my husband used sand to weigh it down, seemed better than using water, wouldn't want it to rust. My husband really likes his spar bar. He hasn't stopped using it since it has arrived. He even has the kids try it. The movement of the bar is pretty quick, I tried it a couple of times and got smacked. Well worth the purchase though! Love it!

No warranty for defective unit and unresponsive company
I ordered a sparbar unit about a year ago for my son as a Christmas gift. I had several issues with the unit. The bar no matter how hard it is tightened would often slip down as there is no hole for the set screw to hold it steady.The head ( bag) broke off and the company promised to send me a new unit. I paid at their request for additional shipping to the US and never received my new unit. I have emailed them repeatedly for months on end and they simply do not respond. I thinks this is horrible customer service and theft of my shipping money. I strongly do not recommend doing business with this company.

Awesome workout
My son loves it so much! It doesn’t take up a lot of space and it adjusts to his height and my younger sons height.
