I was sure the saying "they don't make them like they used to" was true about safety pins because every single one I've gotten for the past couple of years seems to bend as I am pinning my quilts. I couldn't believe my luck finding these sturdy safety pins, I haven't bent one since I got them! Be warned, they take a bit of strength to open and close because they are very well made, but oh my gosh are they a dream! I can't believe I'm not having to bend pins back into shape anymore, I won't settle for any less after finding these beauties!

this is not one of your flimsy safety pins. Extremely strong and sturdy more than I needed for my craft projects, but was very happy I could buy in bulk.

These pins are used to pin the pants of a scarecrow to the shirt and head part. Four are used and of the 297 that were made there was not a single complaint. Almost 1,200 pins used and no problems, so you can see they are good quality. Further they held a pair of pants stuffed with straw to a shirt and head stuffed with straw. not a light weight job by any means. So I would think that many other tasks could be performed by thee pins with ease.

Great value but not sharp. Used theses for consignment. Unfortunately left holes in the clothes.

They came in a ziplock bag in the box so they were easier to contain. Not flimsy, good quality.
