I see a lot of coffee purists and/or coffee afficionado's are upset that it is only 10% Hawaiian coffee. I don't get bothered by that as long as the taste is good and this coffee is delicious! Plus it keeps the price lower. No bitterness in this batch. My first pot was made too strong and it was still a mellow flavor without any bitterness. Today's pot was made perfectly and it could not taste any better. Where ever they are getting the other 90% of their coffee, it still better than most coffees I have tried. The flavor profile is definitely not nutty or chocolaty but has more of a floral note. It is a true medium roasted coffee bean, so a little goes a long way. One thing I can't answer is whether this company is consistent with their beans. I buy a medium whole bean coffee from my local supermarket and it is usually the best coffee for the money but as of late the beans have been really light roasted and I have to double the amount of coffee to get the right flavor. If this company is consistent with their roast, they will get my business.

This came sealed and fresh from amazon.This is my back up when cafe verona is too expensive Or out of stock It's pretty good. Medium blend & i like buying whole bean .. It tastes much fresher and i love the smell of it when I grind each morning ..

Good flavor and aroma

I look forward to having 2 cups in the morning. I try new coffees all the time but I always come back to this Kauai Coffee Whole Bean Company blend. Delicious and I like the texture of hazelnut creamer is perfect.

Imagine our surprise when i make this coffee, and while decent, it doesnt quite taste like we remember kauai coffee tasting in the islands....only to find out its 10% Kauai grown coffee, the rest from elsewhere. Now we arent coffee drinking experts and the price would probably have been the giveaway on this being a blend. BUT...nowhere in the title or description does it state or even briefly mention its not 100% kauai grown coffee. Just be honest is all we are asking

Good flavor, smooth cup of coffee.

Ive been buying the whole beans for my husband that loves this coffee. It smells really good when I grind them myself. I know it’s not true Hawaiian Kona which costs a lot more but this is good.

As always the coffee from this manufacturer never fails to hit the mark. Delicious!!

It's a good cup of coffee - but the beans are old. Very staticky when ground. I'm sure the flavour would be better if the beans were fresher.
