Automatic Patio Door Opener

Easy to install. A little difficult to understand the programming instructions, but I contacted them by email several times. It took a little while to get it right due to the time difference to China. They do reply quickly if you communicate on their time zone. Overall I'm very happy with the finished install. My handicap wife has new found freedom now that she can open our heavy door from her Mobility Chair.UPDATE : I had a problem with the opener and contacted the Olide Auto thru Amazon in China, Jason and Amber were very helpful, sent me their actual email address and a replacement part. I had several email communications with them. Because of a 12 hour time difference its best to email them at night when its daytime in China, they reply promptly. My wife can come and go on her own in her Power Chair. She is VERY HAPPY. I highly recommend their products :-}

The media could not be loaded.  This product is working successfully for our kitchen window. I'm in a wheelchair, and I can now open and close this window. Yay!The instructions are not great, but my husband figured it out. It's installed on the bottom of the window because the blinds are in the way on the top.No instructions for the small remote, but the buttons seem to work this way:1 & 4 are Mode buttons, use one or the other1 - allows open/close of full window (dot light goes on)4 - allows open/close partially (paw light goes on)2 - open window3 - close window5 - reset the device - it "learns" the window size (don't touch this button once it's working correctly!)6 - toggle open/close (same as the larger black PUSH remotes)Black PUSH remotes, toggle open/close: need to open and flip a dip switch to get them to work.There was a loud chirping when it activates. Probably a safety feature, but it's kind of annoying. The manual describes how to get rid of the noise.We'd love to make it work with Alexa! If anyone knows how to do this, please comment. :)UPDATE: My husband emailed the seller, Jason. He purchased two controller boards (one for each window). A little wiring, soldering, and configuring, and we now have two windows that open and close via voice, integrated with Alexa. Woohoo!

A little difficult to install in my situation but got it put in. Remote is great and is very beneficial for my father-in-law to operate with his handicap. Pretty quiet and plenty of power to open door. Good purchase.

Thankfully, the opener installation was fairly easy to figure out because the instructions were not. They need to hire someone to rewrite them. I installed it on a patio door. There needs to be a more ruggedized/weather resistant switch for the outdoor side. The two switches provided don’t look tough enough to install outside. The mode switch needs to be accessible without removing the cover. The opener should freewheel when someone opens the door manually. Need to provide instructions for setting dip switches.

Years ago I purchased a patio door opener from a company called auto slide this product work for several years it just recently stopped working so I decided to replace it and purchase a new, looking at the same product from auto slide company theirs was price a lot higher than this item when I received it I noticed that it was almost exactly the same make different name on the model there were a few updates I could tell by the controllers and the motor seem to be a lot stronger, it was easy for me to reinstall this new product being that most of the setup was the same That was the good news . The bad news is that after installing it I could not get it to work with the remote push buttons The instructions book was vague and I followed it the best I could, after several attempts and several failures I tried to email the company being that it is in China it was a 12 to 13 hour difference so my response time wasn’t until the following day they basically gave me the same instructions that was in w Instruction book but it still continue to fail I packed it up and I’m sending it back hoping to get a return item I will submit a new review when I receive that I hope that it works

Customer service is in China. They were of great help to me after I found out that the best way to contact them was thru e-mail. Product works well after I figured out how to install.

The automatic door opener works very well. We use it to let the dog out into our yard all through the day and evening. The reason we rated it a 4/5 is the instructions are not very clear and are lacking as far as the remote. However, if you email customer support, you do get a good response.

What a great product. I am very happy with how they little unit works. It opens and closes my door with no problem at all. I have set the button to full ope. For people. And the automation with google to open for pets. That's why it only opens part way when google does it. Also I have contacted the seller for info and extra parts and they have been a great help.

It's the second review. Had a problem powering up the unit. A call to supplier resolved the issue (the power button was hidden behind some wires). Everything went smoothly after that. The unit was installed on pocket door (for a handicapped person). Now it looks beautiful and works flawlessly.One of the remote push buttons didn't work. It was promptly replaced. Thanks to Amber at customer service for your assistance.Definitely recommend this product.

Works well on my sliding door.

So it has worked out pretty well. We installed it on my sons bedroom. I had installed a pocket door and he uses a wheelchair so we wanted to make it easier for him to get in.Install was not very difficult. (Take your time).But.....instructions for programming the machine are non existent. The instructions aren’t very good and look to be converted over form overseas.It was very very frustrating. But I was able to get it going. It’s not great for someone if they’re not handy or no someone who is.But it does work well once I got it going.
