I purchased this for my teenage daughter as her first travelers notebook. As long as you understand that this is NOT going to compare with a $150 chic sparrow or similar leather travelers notebook, you’ll be okay. The cover is faux leather but it’s a nice quality one. My daughter has already abused it by shoving it in her purse and using the notebook daily, almost all day since it arrived. It’s constructed perfectly. The notebooks it comes with are surprisingly good quality too, and I’m a paper snob. The lined notebook’s paper is nice and thick with no ghosting, which is nice. The elastics are good and tight and overall this was a great purchase. This is great for someone dipping their toe into travelers notebooks because it’s not too expensive and is perfect. For as inexpensive as it was, it’s quality is good enough that I can see my daughter using this for the next year or so until she is able to save up for her own chic sparrow.

Wow. This notebook is really nice. It’s nice for the price, for sure, but it would still be really nice for double the price. The leather is excellent quality, it secures well, and comes with inserts as well. My only gripe is that the inserts are a little loose inside the notebook. The elastic strap that secured the notebook itself is also used to keep the inserts inside. Doing this means it’s a much longer piece of elastic than most use resulting in a slightly sloppy internal fit. This is easily fixed simply by tying a knot to the exterior, if it bothers you, but to me it’s not a big deal. I put three A5 Dot ruled inserts and the little bit of wobble doesn’t effect me.

Purchased this during prime days to serve as an archive cover for my project inserts when not in use. It works perfect for what I purchased it for. It does not appear to be real leather which is fine with me as I prefer vinyl anyway. I removed the plastic card inserts to put in my daily TN and the 2 inserts included seem to be of good quality and heavy paper. The elastic that holds the book closed is extremely tight. I don’t know that this is something I would want to use as my day to day TN but it would be a great starter travel notebook or a gift for someone who does casual journaling.

This was a quality notebook. I love the thick paper of the notebooks and the fact that it came with two inserts. The leather is thick and smooth. My only complaint is that the band is very tight. I will probably end up taking that band out and putting in another one to make room for an additional notebook.

I love it I added a few bands and a cord so I could wrap it around it, now it holds 5 book I use it everyday. It was my birthday present to myself and I know I will use everyday for years
