Product works very well, as advertised, and as reflected in reviews. I have effectively and almost effortlessly sharpened very dulled loppers for cutting small tree limbs, garden pruning shears, knives, box cutters, and scissors. It's size makes it easy to get at the areas needed for effective sharpening. Very happy with the tool!

Excellent knife sharpener,puts a great edge on the knives. I have been using one for years and would recommend it . Gave two as gifts for blunt knives as a hint!!!!!

Learn to use this simple product and you will fall in love with what it does. Suddenly all your hand cutting tools can be easily maintained at their optimal sharpness with very, very little effort. As some people have commented, the directions/pictographs could be better, but that does nothing to detract from a fully functional product that does a great job. If you have any question of how to use it, YouTube is your friend.

This is a marvelous product and pretty easy to use on all our knives.

Using the sharpener may take a bit of practice however if you can match the honed angle of the knife you are attempting to sharpen and with little pressure move along the blade 3-4 times both sides, you will achieve a sharper edge. I have found it to sharpen more effectively than electric sharpeners or wheel grinders.

Scissors, pocket knives, shears, loppers, pruners, you name it, it will sharpen it like you would have never thought possible. Buy this. Garden better.

J'ai pu redonner une seconde jeunesse à tous mes sécateurs.Je les aiguise facilement avec cet outil. C'est rapide à faire et le résultat est nickel.Je m'en sers maintenant très régulièrement.Bien vérifier le fil de la lame des deux côtés pendant l'affûtage. Le travail est fait en une dizaine de coups grand maximum.

In meinem Leben habe ich bereits vieles an Schärfern probiert. Auch hat man nicht immer Lust, in die Werkstatt zum Schleifstein zu rennen. Dieses Gerät in der großen Ausführung ist für jedermann bei Alltagsaufgaben gut zu verwenden. Ich streiche immer nur eine Seite und nehme zum Ende den entstandenen Grat vorsichtig von der anderen Seite weg. Die Bewegungen führe ich immer zum Körper hin aus. Aber ich schärfe damit auch etwa eine Hausichel und anderes. Einmal habe ich den Hartmetallstreifen gelöst, die Auflage etwas gekürzt und in den Schaft in der Achse der Auflage eine Verlängerung gebohrt. Der Hartmetallstreifen wurde mit Zweikomponentenkleber so verklebt, dass ein Ende stabil im Loch steckt und das andere ungefähr 5mm frei übersteht. So kommt man hervorragend in die engen Ösen von Hufmessern.Über den Preis für das Gerät kann man durchaus unterschiedlicher Meinung sein.
