I bought this set because I needed a small sized set. This is medium sized. I assumed being wooden it wouldn't go through the wear and tear of the plastic ones I always needed to replace. I liked the idea that it was polished which hepped with cleaning the set. I noticed the fork's shiny tinge was odd. The spatula is probably the best part of the set. The tongs are the worst. They are so slippery it would be dangerous to use. Every food item fell from between them. The tongs also do not close properly.

I think this is a fantastic idea! Using wood utensils instead of stainless, it is certainly a wise health move. These utensils are awesome too. I ordered two sets, the first set was beautiful worked super good, easy to wash. Love love love, but sadly when I recieved the second set, two of my forks broke, in the same spot too, at no fault of my own. One broke when I was using it and the other when my husband was using it, hopefully the company helps me out on that and will send a replacement. I intend on purchasing two sets for both sides of the family, and two more sets for us

I wanted the set for the fork. They are hard to find. I use the tongs a lot also the fork. It's a lovely set and very reasonable.

After having cheap stainless steel spoons and forks for a few years, my husband was ready to switch the whole set.We decided to go for Bamboo material set since it's eco-friendly. (We love eco-friendly products now)We've been using the set for over months now and really enjoying it. They were very affordable and seems pretty durable as well.I have sensitive teeth and using stainless steel flatware made my teeth hurt sometimes, but with these bamboo set I don't have to worry about dealing with that problem so that was a plus too.

Not often that I give a below rating for stars but this item really was not a value at all even though the quality of the material was of good quality. However the fork was ridiculous but tines are so thick you can't even stab a woolly mammoth. The knife with its exaggerated serrations couldn't cut anything let alone Play-Doh. The only thing that was usable as the spoons we should have in our right Minds return them after we saw these

Exactly what I was looking for. So much better than some wood ones mentioned in some of the other reviews. These don't have any shellac or coating, the wood ones did. These are oiled, but really I expected that. They work great for when you don't want to risk scratching a dish or cook ware. Nice box and packaging.

I ordered these to use on my patio. They are great. One fork was a little rough, so I just hit with fine sandpaper and now its perfect. I showed them to my friend and she said she'll probably buy some too. I oiled mine with fine quality mineral oil to keep them from drying out and told my husband that although the packaging says they are dishwasher safe, THEY ARE NOT to be washed in it. I love them!

It was a gift. She states nice and sturdy.
