Great idea..... in theory!
This is one of those things that looks good on paper but not in practice. The only way to sharpen the chisel is to pull it towards you. If you try pushing, it will hop around and not work at all. Maybe ok for a quicky, but a leather belt will do the same.

Instructions
No instructions are included with this tool. If you want to know how to set proper angles and use the tool, you have to research, on your own, to find a similar product with instructions and hope those instructions are compatible. MADE IN CHINA.

Nicely made
This honing guide has the right shape to securely hold my chisels properly unlike the other one I bought. It will make sharpening easier and more precise than trying to do it free-hand.

Not the best quality, but good for beginners. Do not recommend this for Japanese plane blades.
This has two sections, one for chisels and one for plane blades, which I didn't realize at first, so I had some frustration with trying to get the blades to fit. It does not hold its clamp well due to poor quality control or poor construction in general, so I have to stop every few passes on the sharpener to re-tighten just to make sure the blade doesn't slip out of alignment or otherwise pop out of the holder. You have to be careful with pressure or it will do that anyway, especially if you're using Japanese planes because the blade has tapered sides rather than parallel sides. It did the job, but was finicky and difficult to set the right angle for shallow blades. I wish I had bought a different one that would make it easier for me to set the right angle for the blade.

el producto no esta correctamente alineado en sus dos lados, lo que puede generar un problema serio al afilar por el borde incorrecto (descuadrado). por otra parte el cabezal de tornillo par apretar se soltó con bastante facilidad a los pocos usos. En estas herramientas es mejor pagar más y comprar lo mejor.

Ok for the price
It's ok for the price, but for anyone needing to sharpen more than 1 or two tools, I recommend getting a better one (e.g. Veritas). Otherwise, it worked.The problem I was dealing with was that where the edges grip on the part weren't really accurately machined. I had to really make sure that while tightening, I kept things aligned.

Good basic tool.
Good construction. Basic tool. No bells or whistles. Recognize that it is set at 25 degrees and can’t be adjusted.

Funcional pero...
Funciona pero presenta un inconveniente importante: a diferencia de otros dispositivos semejantes, no incluye las distancias que deben de tomarse en cuenta para el afilado. Eso es un inconveniente para quienes no somos expertos. Debería incluir un pequeño manual.
