I wasn’t sure what to expect from this product but I’m happy I ordered it. It’s a thick paste in a jar and comes with a small paddle to scoop it out of the jar. You take out a small amount, put it on your hands and rub them together. The paste dissolves into a clear lovely butter that you apply to your face. After smoothing it around, you just rinse with water and it washes off. It removes makeup well including my waterproof mascara. It leaves my face really soft and clean. I love the light healthy scent and the clear green paste looks really clean and nice in the jar. I recommend this product and am not paid or given anything to say that.

This stuff is so awesome! It feels greasy and you’re like omg this will be a mess to get off! No! I use microfiber wash cloths and warm water! Poof it’s gone. I would’ve given five stars for moisturizing but it really doesn’t. It doesn’t dry your skin but there’s no extra moisture either. It takes very little to remove even waterproof mascara so this jar will last a long time making it a good value. And it has a light clean smell to boot. FYI… I don’t like all the rubbing with wipes so this stuff is perfect.

I've used Physicians Formula products in the past with mixed reviews. I've been in need of a meltaway product like this. I tried one in my Ipsy box once, but have never been able to remember the name. I decided to try this product while looking for a similar product online.First impressions....jar arrived sealed and bubble wrapped. Once opened, it smelled delightful. I've used it to remove all kinds of products, including an allegedly waterproof "tattoo" eyebrow pen. It's pretty simple to use... massage lightly onto skin, wait a few minutes, massage again and rinse. Everything seems to melt right off. The trick really is in waiting and allowing it some time to soften and "melt" the makeup. If you expect results immediately or rinse too soon, you wont get good results.I did not have any problems with residue. However, I use this as a part of my skincare routine. After using this product to remove makeup, I follow up with my regular cleanser, toner, serum (I recommend this one https://amzn.to/36G2V8F ), sheet mask and moisturizer. I genuinely believe this is not a product that should be used alone or as your only cleanser/One big complaint.... this states it is fragrance free. This is absolutely not true. There is fragrance listed in the ingredients and this has a fairly potent smell. I enjoy it. But I can understand how it would be a problem for people who absolutely need fragrance free productions. I think it smells great, but if you have problems with scented products you're going to want to pick something else up.Edited: I don't wear makeup every day. After taking a makeup hiatus, I needed to use this last night. It's been open 3-4 weeks. It's not rancid. But it's starting to smell a little off. Works fine. But shelf life is important too. Took away 1 star. Would be fine if I wore make up daily.

This is the best face cleanserI’ve ever used! It takes off regular mascara, never strips your face of natural oils. it doesn’t require a whole lot of product, just amazing. I hope they never run out of it!!

I use gentle cream cleansers on days that I don't wear make up. I like to use balms to remove my make up on make up days, and then a second cleanse with a gentle face wash. I came across this balm and thought that the price was very reasonable. The ingredients seem clean . But It's okay. It definitely does not remove all traces of make up before my second cleanse and that's what I feel it's meant for(and I do not wear heavy make up or waterproof mascara). It does glide across the skin nicely and feels nice. The scent is mild and nothing to write home about. I have resorted to using it as a morning cleanser to remove my night cream. My combo skin is dry with our current New England winter weather and I definitely need a moisturizer after this balm cleanser. It doesn't do a whole lot in the moisturizing department. Do I think it's horrible?, No. Do I think it needs improvement?, Absolutey. Will I purchase it again, probably not. If you have oily skin this might work well as a morning cleanser to remove night creams, but it's a little stripping for my skin and that use, so I most likely won't purchase again.

So far so good, does not seem to irritate my skin and is it nice to apply product, feels pleasant on the skin and I have been using while traveling. Nice to have a little included scooper/spatula to keep things clean and sanitary not to have to stick ones fingers down in a tub of product especially during Covid!Not my top brand for eco-perfection but still has fewer ingredients that are terrible then some products… If concerned run it through the think dirty app and see which ingredients are the worst offenders and choose accordingly. If you like this line of make up for a drugstore grab as I do, I recommend trying it. A little goes a long way and I have yet to go through even one container in almost a year. I don’t use it every single day but it seems like it lasts a long time. Definitely could be shared between partners or family members and seems as if it would be nice for travel since it won’t spill it’s almost close to a solid. I think you would still have to show TSA but not sure… Would be good to find out! I have fairly sensitive skin that breaks out easily and have not noticed any problems from this product that I can tell. Works nicely to remove the thicker mineral powders and such that I wear for sun protection. And isn’t much do you livered the branding and packaging is cute and makes it an attractive enough product to leave out on the counter or on a vanity tray if you like.Glad I tried it, nice product for a drugstore level brands.

Just as good as Pharmacy and much more affordable!!!
