GE Reveal LED Light Bulbs, 60 Watt, G25 Globe Bulbs, Medium Base (2 Pack)

We have a vanity with 8 light bulbs above it and every bulb I have tried putting in makes the light so glaringly bright or if low watt bulbs, they are so dim. These bulbs were perfect. They didn't glare, they put out nice ambient light and it wasn't too dim or too bright. Finally!!

I have lot's of products from GE and they are great. I love their GE Reveal bulbs and I thought I'd love these bulbs too. Unfortunately I was wrong.I needed to use these in a sputnik chandelier that requires quite a few bulbs and it simply didn't work well, I used 3 boxes of 2 units each.This is why:- I don't think it does 500 lumens per bulb, I suspect it gives you less than that.- 3 bulbs would randomly start blinking after awhile. I live in a new home and all my lights are LED. The energy I have running in my home is quite "clean" as I have very sensitive electronics so it wasn't that. After carefully testing I notice 3/6 bulbs were defective.- The quality control is quite low, if you compare these bulbs with the bulbs from the GE Reveal line.- You'd expect 1w consumption or less for every 100 lumens. This one takes 5.5w for 500lm (if it is really 500 lumens). It may not make much of a difference when using one or two bulbs but it does when you are using 5-10.- The yellow light that these bulbs create is just too yellowish for my taste. I wanted something to relax, not a colored lamp.Therefore I have nothing good to say about these bulbs. I returned them and went back to using Phillips that has a very nice yellow tone and fair energy consumption. Sorry GE, these are just not good for my taste.

I bought a set to replace older incandescent Reveal bulbs. Although I really like the original Reveal bulbs, these daylight bulbs with high CRI actually work better for a bathroom. They are bright, but feel like true 60W equivalents. (Sometimes LED bulbs seem to be much brighter than their incandescent counter parts.) I later bought two more sets to replace all my old bulbs with the “Buy Again” button, but they came from a different seller the second time and were NOT the same bulb. They sent an older model in totally different packaging that wasn’t the “HD light” version. I had to send them back for a refund and re-order. Make sure the seller is Amazon and the fulfillment is from Amazon. You will probably have to manually select from the list and they will be a few bucks more expensive, but they won’t try to pass off crummy old bulbs as the ones listed and pictured.

These give off a very yellow light, very surprising for the reveal label. I will replace them immediately.

I was amazed at the improvement in lighting with these GE Reveal LED lights. I had been using the GE Reveal incandescent lights (same wattage) and was having problems finding replacements in the market so I went ahead and ordered these LED lights with the Reveal property. The new lights are brighter and cleaner while using less than 1/10 the electricity. The carton claims the light will last several years, which is great as the bulbs are used in the bathroom and the frequent use results in the incandescent bulbs lasting less than a year. Except for the initial cost, the operating cost will cost be lower. My elderly mother sometimes leaves the bathroom light on all night so I worried about the 160 watts (4 x 40 W bulbs) on all night, especially during the summer when 160 watts of electricity generates so much heat. The LED bulb only uses 3.5 W of electricity so much less heat is generated. The bulbs have been in use for only 2 days so I can’t comment on longevity of the bulbs. I haven’t decided whether to replace similar incandescent bulbs in the other bathroom, but I’m tempted.Most lightbulbs in our apartment have been converted to LEDs over the years so I am familiar with the advantages of LED lightbulbs. I still have a few CFL bulbs and a few incandescent bulbs, but I will rethink switching to all LED bulbs as a treat to myself and the environment.

Soft White light very much like a standard incandescent bulb. About the right brightness for "60" watt replacement. The large bulb diffuses the light much better than smaller bulbs, so that it is not harsh to look at even when you are near it. In general more pleased with these bulbs than I thought I would be.The light is constant, and I have not noticed any flickering like in cheaper bulbs. It is susceptible to minor dimming when there is a large power draw on the same circuit, but its not particularly noticeable except when the draw begins or ends.

Ad makes the bulb appear to have a blue tint, but bulb are nearly clear and give off a yellowish light.

I bought the globe LED bulbs. The color and brightness of the light was really nice but they flickered really badly. It was very noticeable to the point where I couldn't leave the lights on. It was definitely the bulbs and not my light fixture since I have tried several different LED bulbs in this light and none of the other ones flickered like this. I expected better quality for the price of these. I will be returning.

Super cute, but the only reason I’m taking off a star is because one of the three bulbs came broken. I was too lazy to do a replacement, so I don’t know about how easy or difficult that would have been. In terms of aesthetic it’s nice and it lights up the room just like it’s supposed to.

Absolutely no issues. I bought them as replacements for builder-issue bulb lights for over my bathroom vanity mirror. Perfect fit. Exactly as described.

I ordered “GE Refresh HD Globe Dimmable LED Light Bulbs” which should be glass and 5.5 watts (60 W replacement) as the ads described, but received a plastic version which is 6.5 watts (60 W replacement). Not the same thing!
