I don't know the first thing about building models but wanted my partner to have a hobby he could lose himself in and I found it! I've bought him a few different models, classic cars, a big rig and then I saw this truck and fell in love. I'm an avid review reader and the Revell models seemed to have the most positive ones. He says the quality and especially the options some of them come with to customize are excellent quality. Once he finishes this one I have a Porsche Targa and a classic "Vette" on the list next! I'd also gotten him an airbrush kit he never used and now he is so I double scored on this one!!!

I cut the hood in half and glued it together opened.its still removable. I like details like separate chrome door handles instead of painting molded in ones.

What I really like about 2n1 models is how you can customize the pickup just as they have been in reality. If you google an actual 37 pickup, you can see how they come in all colors and shapes. Once yu decide on exterior and interior colors most of the parts can be pre painted. I use tamiya paints and Flysea chrome paint markers. I have found that good old Testors cement makes modeling much easier. I think you will find this kit fun to build with lots of parts to choose from.

This model by Revell is completely 💩 do not purchase. Build is terrible does not fit together at all.

The over all quality of this kit is not good, especially the smaller parts. The instructions, well in my opinion not that well thought out. Even the illustrations are not that good.I've been in the craft for over 40 years and I do remember Revell producing some good quality kits, especially automotive.The price for this kit I would have thought that the workmanship would be better and the fit and finish would be good. But it is what it is and Revell is at the bottom of my kit list.
