In the description it clearly says the scales require 3x AAA batteries, the instruction booklet says the same. The product description says the batteries are not included so I ordered some of them too. The scales actually require 3x AA batteries which I didn’t have!They are good scales, just not quite as the seller describes, you think they’d have checked!

This crane scale I’ve used for some time now. It’s weighed several tons of wood in small amounts ranging from almost nothing up to 8kg and also loading a bucket up to 40kg. It has taken a lot of use with all of the wood landing in the bucket, and it still works perfectly.Clear large display.Batteries last a very long time.It’s a metal case and the hook is very strong.I checked it by weighing a 9kg pack of water, so it was accurate.The listing for mine seems a little incorrect.Mine can weigh from .30 of a kg. So this makes it very useful for weighing almost anything, gas bottle etc.Quality is good and still working well after a long time.
