Many gels on the market give you dandruff. Definitely not this one and it is alcohol free. It does not dry your scalp and holds your hair pretty good. I love it and highly recommend it.

Great product, particularly for curly hair. It gives curls definition, eliminates frizz and adds great volume. I used to go to John Delarria’s salon in SOHO and buy it when I got my hair done. I was sad to see that salon close but very happy I can get this on line.

I've been using Shuga Gel Creme for years now. It isn't easy to find, but worth the search because it leaves my hair manageable, yet soft and easy to style. Wish it were less expensive.

Perfect for my hair

I'm wondering if this product was old or a knock off. Generally got this at a John Dellaria hair salon and when I got that product there it worked better. The cream was also thicker too. And when i washed my hair from this product, i got a very pungent odor from it. My hair also started feeling dry. I stopped using it.

Even though I didn't mind the product itself, (it's very lightweight and it doesn't damage my hair) the container is very poorly designed. Because the product is liquid like, standing it the way it's designed will make it seep out of the top. If you do buy it, I suggest you store it upside down leaning against something or place it in a ziplock bag like I've done.
