Stainless Steel Grill Basket can put in the oven for baking peanuts, walnuts, almonds and so on. Specifications Size: (Len)30cm(Dia)12cm / about 12"x5" Spit Rod Hole Size: 0.6cm*0.6cm / about 1/4" in diameter (spit rod is not included) Customer Questions and Answers: What size spit rod does it work on? * It's 1/4". But if your rod is fatter than 1/4", you could still able to modify the holes on the end to fit. Take some needle nose pliers and gently peel each side of the small opening back from inside the drum (no external sharp edges that way, maintained square shape) until it fits. The material is quite soft and easily adaptable. How many lbs of coffee beans can it hold? * I use it to grill veggies I think it would hold up to 5lbs of beans. * Don't put more than 4 coffee mugs of beans in it they don't seem to rotate very well if you put in more. How fine is the mesh? Is this fine enough to hold the beans? * The openings of the mesh seem to be no bigger than 1/8" to 3/16" wide. It's fine enough for coffee beans or nuts, or sunflower seeds. However, if your beans are smaller than these holes, you need a new supplier.Package Included 1 x Stainless Steel Roaster Basket

Perfect for roasting coffee Beans on the grill
I like the fact that its ALL Stainless Steel and not magnetic, this means no rust. Had to open the holes on each end to fit my 1/2" Hex. Rotisserie Rod and put a new keeper on one end to keep it from sliding back and forth. I can Roast 4 cups of coffee Beans without any problems. So far I'm loving this item. BTW the door is held closed by a strong spring clip. I don't see how it can ever open up while its turning and doing its thing.

Works well for roasting coffee beans rotisserie style in propane grill
I bought a 1/4" square rod from home depot, 3D printed a handle for it, then threaded it though this cage. I had to slightly open up one of the holes to get the rod to fit. This is a convenient solution for home roasting on a propane grill. I just rotate the spit by hand while roasting, but i'm sure you could use this with a rotisserie motor.
