Exceptional collection of Christmas ghost stories. NOT horror stories, per se. There is a difference. Tim Martin did a great job curating this collection. His focus seemed to be on the quality of the literature as the writing was well above par. If you enjoy evocative, atmospheric stories happening on or around Christmas, I recommend grabbing this collection.

I ordered this book, enjoying every Christmas stories, especially to have Neil Gaiman. To my sad surprise, I only gotten a same page short from the author, front to back. I mean seriously? I expected more but only gotten the quickest short I ever seen. Very disappointing. I give 3 stars for being tricked about my favorite author. I mean, the other authors had the stories long, yet not Gaiman's?Overall, other stories were fantastic. Great Christmas thrills. On the side note, don't be fooled thinking you'll get more on Neil Gaiman's part...

I don't usually like to put authors and stories down too much but I just truly found this book to be very boring. I didn't find even one of these stories to be the least bit interesting. I do like ghost stories and horror movies. I already knew that this book would not be 'horror' which was fine. But it wasn't even interesting. At least one story out of this collection should have been at least one worth reading but I found myself reading stories that I was anxious to just end because it really wasn't worth reading. There was one story ('Nicholas Was' by Neil Gaiman) that was not even a full 2 pages but I still thought it was a waste of time! Sorry but I wish I had found this in the library rather than have bought it.

Product arrived just fine. But the book it self was just ok.. some of the stories are really good, but a lot of them are real snoozers.

Entertaining mysteries for the holiday season.

Though a few were hard to get through and others left me wanting more, overall it was a great collection of Christmas ghost stories.

Product is exactly as described.

With such a title, one does expect a good story, perhaps even a ghost story. Chilling these stories are not. Apart from a story by M.R.James, one by Jenn Ashworth and a clever one by Kelly Link, the volume is unexceptional. It is with some hesitation that I put on my book shelf of genuine ghost stories.

Started reading last night and iv just finished it, its fantastic and couldn't put it down, thank you x

As this is a present for a young ghost and horror story fan I have not read it myself as i am neither.
