Works well.
Not the most sensitive if you have dry skin. The connection at the sensor disk is simply maintained by sticky tape (hope it lasts). Wish the lead wire was a bit longer for more mounting options without splicing more wire. Low cost solution, though!

Functional and easy to install
No issues to install. Can be a touch temperamental and trigger while no one is touching but its very infrequent and some other object would have come in close contact to trigger.

Received one new and one used
Received today….. opened 1st box power module is wrapped in soft protective wrapping. Button switch is neatly packaged on top with its own little bag. 2nd box I open and power module is out of the wrapping and the button switch is missing. So I paid for 2 new and got one used missing the button switch and one new one that was complete.

Great choice for LED control
Purchased this to control a few strands of Led Lights for a Lack enclosure for a Prusa MK3S+ printer. This works out great for the touch control of on/off & brightness. It remembers the brightness before being shut off. A long press on will start at lowest brightness which is nice for starting it up in real dark situations or to control initial on brightness.

DO NOT RECCOMMEND
I am a custom furniture maker and wanted to add LED's with a sneaky touch dimmer into a hutch that I was building for someone by using the brass hinges on the hutch as a touch dimmer switch. First off, I bought WHITE armacost puck LED's and learned that these are not dimmable and only the stainless steel puck lights were the dimmable option. Needless to say this dimmer module did not work with the WHITE Armacost puck LED lights, and I confirmed the lights/wiring was not done incorrectly by bypassing the dimmer module and going straight to the power supply to see that everything turned on as it should.Second attempt was with the dimmable puck LED's that were stainless. These worked when I first wired them up, then when I unplugged the power and plugged it back in moments later for another test, nothing worked. I came back to it the next day and they worked again... weird. I wired the touch sensor wire to a solid brass hinge and again it worked, but upon unplugging the power source and plugging it in again, nothing worked once more. I went ahead and ordered a new touch dimmer module to see if I had received a lemon. When the new module arrived, I wired it up and it worked. Same thing as before, I connected the sensor wire to a brass hinge and installed it into my hutch. Everything worked as it should in my shop. Once I delivered the hutch to my customer, the module stopped working again! After a week of trying to unplug it and plug it back in and test the wiring, I confirmed that the faultiness was from the dimmer module. I emailed Armacost tech support for help and here is their response:"The touch dimmer will not work at all with any of our puck lights. it has to do with the capacitance of the puck lights." When I asked for a recommendation for other puck lights their module would work with I got this response:"We have not tested the touch dimmer with any other vendors lights so I am unable to give you that answer. I do know the touch dimmer does work with our tape lighting." So I gave it everything I had to make these work, but they simply don't. I am going to have to find another way to dim these puck lights I already have installed in the hutch I made for this client.

All 3 Working Great
I used these for closet light touch switches. We leave the LEDs on bright, but it's nice to have the option to dim them...pretty good range too. Works to connect to any metal to make touch on/off/dim.

Very nice
Works like a champ decided to attach the wire to a hinge on a curio cabinet rather than the disk that comes with it awesome

I give up
After trying 3, yes Three, dimmers that don't work I give up. Here is what I think happened. Try #1 and #2 seemed to work on bench test. However, the connections were troublesome - I now suspect this is due to the solid wire I was using not seating well in this particular connector despite it being tight, it is not a good connector.I also suspect that the dimmer is very sensitive to loose connections and they both failed due to this. Thinking I know the problem I ordered number 3 (thanks Amazon returns). This one came in DOA. I was VERY careful with connections, used stranded wire, tested continuity prior to plugging it in, and it didn't even blink. It looks good, just doesn't do the dimming thing. All the components are from the same manufacturer.
