Excellent!
Does what it’s supposed to do. It locks the bolt in place. Could someone smash it or cut it still with a file or sawzall or try to get bolt cutters around it? Sure. But, you can’t stop everything. This has a solid design, fits the Thule bike rack threads, and has a simplistic locking system that was easy to figure out. There’s even a cover to try and prevent water from getting into the lock and causing rust. Took me about 2 minutes to figure out how to put it together. No time at all. Would highly recommend if you want a way to lock your bike rack onto your vehicle.

Good luck for your Thule hitch rack
Works great for locking my Thule hitch rack. If you want to use the 'one key' system with another lock then you'll have to buy a set of lock cylinders that are matched to replace the lock cylinder in this hitch lock and your other lock so they match.

Very good a bit expensive but does the job. Protect my bike rack on the road.

A worthwhile product with some caveats
The product fit the Thule 4 bike rack. A couple of warnings about installing the locking bolt. I would suggest dabbing the threads with loctite . We took a 2000 mile trip with 2 mounted bikes. The locking bolt vibrated loose after 1000 miles. I called Thule and they FedEx a new bolt. I installed it with loctite. After that we didn't have have any issues with the bolt. On our trip we encountered some strong winds the bikes stayed securely tight however the mounting pads on which the bikes rest have a tendency to slide on the mounting arm. So on the to trip and return trips the bikes had shifted to one side about 4 inches. They stayed secured but had shifted a little close to back window (SUV). Thule should consider screwing the mounting pads to the armThe locking bolt kit I bought was OK however the dust/mud cover which protects the keyhole is Chinzy. The cover falls off.

Works on small hitches
I have a small bike rack that goes on the back of my car and often find it difficult to find a small enough lock for it. This one works really well and offers the security. I was looking for with a key highly recommend.

It works as advertised
This is a very good receiver hitch lock. it has a Thule Interchangeable cylinder. So, the pro tipis to order the matching cylinders at the same time

Any reason to buy something other than this original Thule lock
One might say that there are some other cheaper locks. However, I decided that since I use the lock to secure an expensive item (such as my Thule bike rack), I should invest in the best tool for it.I tried other solutions, just to learn that I should have ended my search when encountering the original Thule Snug Tite Lock.

Fit perfectly and although expensive, having the correct lock makes a difference
I attempted to use a third party lock and the nut would screw all the way into the opening so my bike rack did not feel fully secure. With the Thule nut it screwed in all the way and the only movement I can notice is slightly up and down, but no side to side. So I am much more confident that my bikes will not be moving much while driving in the freeway or for long distances.
