Brought as present
I brought these for my dad, there his favourite. He said that they're just as good as he remembers but slightly smaller in size but the lemon flavour is all the way through. Some of the cheaper brand's only have the lemon on the outside and not going through the caramel in the middle, but these do. Thank you for a wonderful trip down memory lane 😉😉🫠🫠

Just perfect bonbons.
I read through all the reviews for lemon bonbons first as I wanted the original chewy ones and not the tasteless hard things that can be found in the shops these days.i am pleased to say that these were perfect in every way.They are definately chewy and the lemon flavour is not too tart,gentle but flavoursome.i can't give them less than 5*The size of the bag means they will last quite a time before I'll need to be buying more.

Not vegetarian
Disappointed as the list of ingredients on the bonbons we received included pork gelatine- we have vegetarians in the family and coming to the event we bought these for who cannot eat these.Also we bought in May 2023 and it’s very short dated to July 2023. I wouldn’t buy from this retailer again, for the reasons stated above.

I was surprised but should not have been to find that they are smaller than before, i suppose its good in one way as you get a few more but another way they don't last as long individually

Brilliant bonbons
Brilliant Bristows lemon bonbons, good thick powdery coating and toffee inside was delicious. Seller was really helpful when I ordered the wrong sweets and swapped them without any trouble.
