Great product!

This is the brand of asafoetida my family used throughout my childhood. For everyone saying it smells too strong - you are literally supposed to use a tiny, tiny pinch! Do not use it in the same quantities as onion or garlic powder. It’s kind of your fault if you can’t follow simple instructions in a recipe.

A great way to avoid garlic or onion

This is 100% asafoetida, if know anything about this herb. smells fresh, I have purchase this before from a near by international store. It last a little over a year. Once the smell is gone, it time to re-purchase.Yes I will buy this produce again, but this time from a black own business contributor.

exactly what I ordered. I hadn't cooked with it before, and the smell is strong, but after a month of so I actually really enjoy it. Keeping it in ziploc bags has not done much to dampen the odor, I think I'm going to get an air-tight contaier to store this little bottle in haha. But it's a really amazing spice. Feels like the secret ingredient I've been missing all these years.

Bought this for my Indian Cooking and it's great to use in the Dishes I learned in my cooking class.
