Book lacking capacity
In todays time, with all the electronic online tutorials available, if your going to print a book with exercises like this bass book, give it some substance. This books material is easily found free online.Look elsewhere for a more intensive book. Oh, also the book is not even full size.

Very Basic
I have been playing bass for over 40 years, and was a professional bass player for almost 2 decades. My review below is based on that experience plus having gone through countless "Bass Books".This book would be good for beginner bassists only. It is very rudimentary.Anyone who is serious about becoming a good bass player would be much better off with Josquin Des Pres' Bass Fitness Book. That book has enough information and exercises to last a players lifetime.

Brest bass book I have purchased
I have far too many bass books - but I am so glad I bought this one. The practice routines I use evry day and have built up finger strength noticeably over the last two months.Highly recommended - the exercises are fun to do and useful mini-licks can be incorporate in your playing.
