The BEST out there....
I’ve used several pulse oximeters and this is my favorite. Yes, it’s accurate. And you can adjust the direction of the readout and also how large the readout numbers are. And I just happen to love orange, as it’s been scientifically proven to be the best color. It’s got a nice case and a very nice silicone protector. This one costs a little more than some, but it’s sure a nice one. Get the best one the first time and you won’t be sorry.Well, it gets better as I’ve discovered. If you get to the ‘menu’ you can turn off both the Alarm and the Beep. Just play around with it and with the button... long press might get you there.

Ski Patroller Approved
As a ski patroller, this is an item I use on many calls for assistance. It's easy operation and ability to be configured make this a nice pulseox. It provides a quick and continuous reading if needed. I also like the orange color so it stands out when I'm in the snow, and the rubber cover it came with is just okay. The rubber cover would be much improved if the two thin strips of rubber that connect the top and bottom weren't as thin as a hair follicle. I'm guessing that'll break in no time at all and I took a picture that shows it. The display can be changed so the orientation can be shown in any of the 4 directions, making this a lot nicer if you're going to always be working in the same location like a doctors office. You can configure alarms and such as well, but I like it to be silent. The storage case is durable and appreciated since I keep this in my backpack and my pack can see some rough handling. Recommended! If you have any questions, just ask in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them promptly.

Dad actually used it and was accurate!
My Dad was sent home with oxygen after his surgery. Got this little unit so we could regularly check his levels and could not be happier with it!Easy to use and read, plus super convenient to throw in your pocket or use the lanyard around your neck to take it with you. There's something about the progress bar that instills confidence in the data, which, when we went for Dad's follow-up matched the Dr office equipment exactly. The price is right as well. Definitely going to get another for our house!

Crystal clear screen readings and protective shell
We use an O2 reader for our son everyday for his asthma. Kids aren't great at telling you when it hurts to breathe or they are having issues breathing. There's only so much you can see and hear. The O2 meter has been valuable to us in helping discover when he's close to an asthma attack or developing fluid in his lungs. When he drops below 95 saturation, it's time for the hospital. Some doctors have scoffed at this, but we have been right every single time. When he drops below 95 he has needed hospital care. Of course, your use and results may vary. Two major features I love about this reader is how clear & bright the screen display is and all the coverings to protect the device from a fall. The clear display gives you pulse rate and O2 saturation within 15 seconds or so. The display can be viewed in 6 different directions, which I think may be overkill. Just tilt your head. Not only does the reader come with a protective case, but it has a silicone case that protects it from falls.

Cool Oximeter
When I saw this on the Vine Program list, I immediately ordered it. I am a nursing educator and I often wished I had a handheld oximeter to show my students in their Fundamental's class and also I wanted to have one to use in the Long Term Care Unit that I take students to for a couple of weeks. It is not necessary to have one in acute care (hospital) as equipment is abundant, but in the long term care, I really feel this will augment the student's learning. This is one cool oximeter. It has a cool rubber-like cover (bright orange, so I hopefully will not lose it), and it was easy to set up, with not only the heart rate shows and the oxygen saturation but there is also a little heart-beat tracing (like on a monitor or EKG). I have never seen one with this before. It came with batteries. I checked it out using my own finger. It is right on target as I know my vital sign baselines. So cool and glad to get it!
