Can't tell this key from original except for metal RAM tag on back of shell. Unless you damaged the original FOB, the part that wears out on your original key is the contacts on the back of the buttons inside the shell. Simply open your key fob and transfer the electronic board inside to this new shell. Super easy. Works for original shell with or without the tiny screw in top that locks the case closed. Will buy another one.

Perfect replacement shell. UTUBE video on it. My buttons quick working on my old RAM fob and I put the little circuit board in the new one! Works like new, love it, saved me lots of money!

It is a FOB for the dodge, but I may misread the title of it, it is merely a case; nothing inside to unlock the vehicle. But it does the job of starting the truck, so still good.

I only bought it because I needed the physical key part since I ordered the fob from the dealership and it didn’t come with the key 🙄 so truthfully I don’t know if that fob would have worked but the key did :)

They set of keys I bought had already been pre-programmed once. These keys can only be programmed once. They might have been a return that was resold. These keys should only be sold once. Programming the key is more expensive than the keys themselves ($130 to program) so think twice before buying.Now I have had good luck buying keys for my Honda before, so if the situation happened again, I might still give it a shot because I like to gamble. Anyway. New RAM key is $230
