Sleepypod Clickit S-Clip

The Sleepypod safety harness for dogs (to use in cars as humans use seat belts and child car seats) is, as far as I can see, the best design and rigorously tested car harness for dogs. They have two top-rated models. Something is better than nothing, but some may allow a dog to be jerked back or tumble and spin before stopping abruptly in a crash, this is designed to not do that and essentially meets human standards.Many states have laws that pets must be restrained in cars, don't specify how. Most are okay with carriers or cages, etc., like things attached vs car seat belts, but restrained. Three reasons: (1.) You take care of yourself and your family and friends, why would you not do the same for your pets???; Many pets get badly injured or die in crashes, friends in insurance tell us of terrible stories, it is not uncommon, (2.) Untethered pets become ballistics in a crash. In an 8-G crash, a 50-lb dog becomes a 400-lb cannonball and can injure of kill others in the car, and, (3.) unrestrained pets can block the driver's view, squirm under pedals, distract the driver from the road, in many ways cause an accident. Most people go blank when I ask if they realize these laws exist, but it's crashingly (pun) obvious if you think about it, and irresponsible to not use some kind of harness. We love the Sleepypod ones.This clip just makes it easy and convenient to keep the seat belt adjustment when the pet (in this case dog) is put in and taken out several times, makes using the harness easier than re-adjusting the seat belt over and over.

The S-clip helps our 47pound lab mix to move buckled in without compromising on safety. Used with the Sleepypod car harness. Would recommend the clip for medium to small dogs who have trouble pulling out the car safety belt when buckled in. After all, the safety belt is made for human strength.

This is a great high quality item that kept ou dog from choking himself to death in ONE of our cars. Unfortunately, in the second car the clip was narrower than the orifice that the seatbelt came out of and when it was pulled into the seatbelt housing it became an expensive problem.

This is an add-on for the sleepy pod harness., It should be packaged with the harness, not sold separately as it makes the harness safer to use for your pup.

My dog doesn't move around much, but this seemed slightly bent after two weeks of use.

Does exactly as advertised

The S- Clip should be included with this harness, otherwise it’s not fitted properly and my dog it’s placed under pressure with the seat belt! I would have paid for it instead of having to figure out what I was doing wrong and my dog feeling stressed! 😡😡Now I have send for the S-Clip and wait another 2 days??? Really??
